I had the opportunity to meet some of the employees of Duval Asphalt last year while I was in the area for 5 months and got to witness the many wonderful things they did for the community and helping those that needed it. The leaders of the company have hearts of gold! They take care of their employees and companies that take care of their employees have employees that will take care of the company! Their $25,000 contribution to the Care-A-Thon today is just one example of the ways they care for their community and their employees! Go Duval Asphalt! You ROCK! Oh! They also take care of others! One of their employees became a hero recently when he helped to rescue a truck driver from his burning cab after an accident on I-75. I knew when I met him that he was a super guy! Great job, Corey!

I have not actually received service by this company. However, I was driving down philips highway behind one of the trucks and the driver or perhaps passenger , chucked a blue beer can wrapped in a brown paper bag out the window into the grass. This is completely unacceptable on so many levels. I did call and leave a voicemail for duval asphalt with the license plate number of the truck. I can't say with completely certainty it was a beer can as it was wrapped in a brown paper bag, but people done hide blue Pepsi soda cans wrapped in brown paper bags. Drinking and driving is a criminal offense, and even if this person wants to defend himself by calling it a soda can, he still littered. This happened directly in front of the Duval asphalt building, what was the urgency he couldn't wait to park and use an office trash can? I somewhat apologize for the rant, but this was disgusting in so many levels and management should know what their people are doing while driving around in company vehicles on the company's dime.

Had them asphalt an area in front of my house and was told to wait 4 days to drive on it. After waiting 7 days just to be safe, I drove over it and immediately had some come loose. Now there's tire dents in it from when I left my car parked there for 20 mins. Then they hit my mail box when laying the asphalt down so it's now crooked. When I talked to them about it they said they would send someone to come out and fix everything by the end of the week. They never showed up. Have been calling for 3 months leaving numerous voicemails and no one will call back. What kind of company is this? I was promised 1 year warranty on their work and they won't even return my calls for three months?! I just don't understand it. I paid ALOT of money for this and expect to get what I paid for....All in all... When it comes to excellent quality work and good customer service, there is none. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
