Update- 3-15-2018 - I am changing my rating from a one star to a four star. I received a phone call from the owner, Charlie Hickes, and he apologized for the misunderstanding and the communications I had with the gentleman prior to his call. He gave me an estimate for the repair and I am not able to settle my account with the roofer. I am also on the books for when the weather finally warms up to have Hicks Paving repair my driveway. Like I had said in my original review they did a great job on my driveway. I am happy they are repairing it for me. I trust their work. 3-9-18 I don't normally do this but I am very frustrated with the customer service that I have had recently and I need to share with everyone on my experienced. I was hoping and giving Hicks Paving the opportunity to fix the driveway the roofers had damaged (however now telling me they didnt) they installed last June for me. Today I made yet another call to them, makes 5 in the last 4 weeks, to just give me an estimate on the repair. I know the work cannot be done until warmer weather. That is why I'm only looking for an estimate on what it will cost for it to be repaired. This call I finally got to talk to someone beyond the receptionist who happens to be the owner's wife. Spoke with the owner and he informed me that hicks Paving is closed until April. That they do not answer calls or work until then. I questioned him on answering the phone the last five times he informed me it was his home phone number. However every time I call the receptionist answers Hicks Paving. So I'm not sure if they are closed why they are still answering the phone and why it is such a big effort for them to just come out and give me an estimate on the repairs. He informed me of the blizzards that we have had these past couple days I responded that I have informed him with phone calls for the last 4 weeks many of those days reaching 50 to 60 degrees Plus. I am now going to call a paver that is actually interested in doing business with me. Do the fact that my driveway is less than a year old it is under contract warranty yet he does not seem to feel that that is a concern of his. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I am receiving from him especially since after getting my driveway done I recommend them to others. So I have to say buyer beware when dealing with Hicks

This is the second job they have done on my office then recently on my home. I recommend them very highly. They are polite, efficient, neat ,and thorough. Tom Hicks is very friendly as well and takes the time to review the job before and after. BEAUTIFUL work! Mike P.

if I could have given negative stars, i would have. the company is filled with a bunch of guys with their heads so far up their butts. aweful job, given 10 different quotes, aweful work. go elsewhere!
