Worked with Clay and his team to revamp my entire front and back yards. We added a huge outdoor patio in the backyard with a sidewalk to the driveway, another sidewalk coming from the driveway to the front door, and doubled the size of my front porch. Picking out the pavers was easy and the entire project was finished in 3 days. The team worked nonstop. I love the results and would recommend them to anyone. My neighbor across the street saw what they had done and hired them to redo their front porch as well.

Called and left two messages. Drove up from Bradenton and talked with the front office guy who said he would give our information to Jim and Sam. Called and spoke to the front office guy again. He put me through to Jim's voicemail. Left my own message. NO FOLLOW-UP WHATSOEVER! Needless to say, don't waste your time!!

Jim one of the owners from Gemstone has been working on several projects for me for over 10 years. His attention to detail is the reason I continue to to us his company. The first project this company did was drastically over budget and he stuck to the price that we negotiated. He has also done several garage floor coatings that were priced thousands less than the competition. I will continue to use his services as I recommend them as well.

This is primarily directed in this one instance where the product did not work out well on our home. In 2003 our new home contractor had this Gemstone coasting mixture applied to our upstairs decks over a fiberglass cloth and plywood structure. At the same time it was applied to a small balcony in the front. The mixture was then sprayed down with what appears to be a knockdown finish. It was very attractive and gave the impression of concrete. Unfortunately it was not very durable from the elements and the relentless sun we have in Florida. It started to crack and crunch under weight after the first year and started to allow water to seep between the mixture and the fiberglass. It was repaired at one time but continued to degrade. We finally had this coating pulled up and re-fiberglass-ed at considerable cost. While this product may work out well in other instances, I would not recommend it for a balcony or upstairs deck where the mixture comes in direct contact with a fiberglass coating.
