I’ve had Mike do two driveways for me. There’s a lot of shady paving companies out there who will try one of two things - give you a really low price based on putting like 2” of asphalt down and barely grading, or try and sell you a bunch of stuff you absolutely do not need to work up the price. Mike does neither. He asks you how you will use it and tells you you how he’d do it if it were his, balancing cost and durability. He is super friendly, his guys are all pros and they do great work. And what he quoted was what was charged.

I can't say enough about Quality Paving. Their pricing is reasonable and the results top quality. My husband is retired so he spent a lot time watching them work and observed the care and precision with which they worked. They started when promised, continued working nonstop and a day and a half later my driveway was done. This wasn't just a skim coat, they removed all of the black top, brought in gravel to correct the slope issue before putting down the new asphalt. This is a third generation family business which continues to honor a commitment to quality.

Mike Shafer is a terrific man to converse deal with (Look at that smile as he handles the slowest vehicle on earth), and I ended up with a wonderful driveway, which looks as if it were crafted by hand. Also, the finished product beat the specs he had presented. He and his crews are true asphalt artisans!

Mike has done 2 driveways for me and will be doing another one in a few weeks, but he does not know it yet. I would never consider anyone else for a second. Their level of quality is beyond superior. BGE just wrecked my current driveway installing new gas lines. The destruction crew had never seen a driveway so well built and felt really bad about having to tamper with it. We can't wait to have Mike and his crew make our property look perfect again.

Mike and his crew did a great job repairing the parking lot at my business Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation, 7527 Harford Rd. Price was reasonable. I am very satisfied and will only call Mike when I need more paving work done.
