Action Paving did not finish or properly execute the paving, striping, and installation of bollards on our lot as stated in our signed contract. Around November of 2012 we solicited Action Paving and other local companies to perform paving and related services (8 bollard placements in pavement and striping of freight lanes). After a lengthy wait, in October of 2013 we selected Action Paving as they had the best quote of $30,375.00 for a 2 1/2'' base and 2'' binder paved lot. We decided to add additional services totaling $5,500 extra for a grand total of $35,875. Paving began in September of 2013 and was 90% completed on 9/26/13. Action Paving did not finish installing the bollards or the striping of the freight lanes but promised to do so as soon as possible. Almost immediately after pavement was completed, the paving is cracking and bulging exposing bare dirt. The owner promised to cut out, replace, and seal the entire lot to remedy this problem. The owner attempted this on a few areas but these areas almost immediately started to crack and bulge like before. The owner has refused to do more work on this lot due to stating that he is broke. The lot looks horrible for a freshly paved lot and is certainly not what we contracted Action Paving to do. Additionally no bollards have been installed and the striping has yet to be completed. Signed contract states that ALL workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year. Additionally we do not believe the material put down is anywhere near 2 1/2'' for the base or 2'' for the binder.
