Jims Paving melted the vinyl siding on our office even after my husband asked them if they were to close to the vinyl. He saw it getting damaged. I called and was told to send the bill for our handyman to fix... they never paid me. Within one year the edge of the driveway was breaking off in chunks. The list of issues goes on, I won't mention everything here but we will never use Jims paving again.

Jim's Paving was behind me on route 30/283 in a large red truck with yellow lettering and a license plate that said "Email Jim". The truck was extremely aggressive, riding up on my bumper like it was going to run me off the road, making swerving gestures, getting beside me and making moves like it was going to suddenly swerve into my lane and hit my car. I was already going quite fast but not fast enough apparently. When he got to a section of the road that he could pass all of us blocking his way, he quickly crossed over to the right to pass us and then continued to drive wrecklessly, weaving between vehicles, jumping into off ramps and then back onto the highway. The driver knew to slow down where the cops usually sit at the fruitville pike ramp onto 283 west. The vehicle then sped up and continued to weave until he finally cut over to the 741 exit. If this business is anything like the extremely dangerous and aggressive driving, I would not trust this company.

Well....I can't say I am not pleased with the driveway. They did what he said they were going to do and when it was finished it looked beautiful. BUT....now it is sinking at the front of my building and I call the "wonderful answering service" they have and he either doesn't get the message or is ignoring my calls. Same thing happened when I called for an estimate. Called last week about the issue, no call. Called today sO we will see if I get a call back.

We just had Jim's put a new surface on our old driveway. They arrived right on time, with a full crew that worked well. They did everything that was promised. They dug up problem areas and ensured they had a good surface on which to lay the new asphalt. The new driveway looks great, and quite frankly is better than I expected. The street and yard surrounding the driveway were left completely clean. Everyone was courteous and respectful, and the foreman knew exactly what he was doing and made sure it was right. They only (very) minor negative that I have is that I really don't like calling through an answering service and wondering when I will get called back. But what counts most is the quality of the work for the price and I'm recommending them highly.

Jim: Messed up my job completely and broke my fence. Contract specifically states the water to run across the driveway and not puddle. After completion of the job he demanded payment before I could do a water test to verify the water run across the driveway and down into the intermittent stream. After being rushed to pay the man I did not take the time to verify the gradient was correct to allow the water to run off the driveway. First problem the broke my fence during the blacktop installation too 6-8 weeks to get them back to fix my fence. My dogs almost got loose. Second the driveway way not installed per the contract it being fall and the rain come but the water is now dammed by the driveway causing the water to flood my back yard and cause water to leak into my basement. Will not call me back to repair what he has messed terrible customer service once that check was in his hand he is gone. So word to the wise do a full inspection before making that final payment even hold back some money and wait. I have milk weed pods coming through my drive way I don think its 3" thick as stated in the contact. I would not recommend jims paving to my enemy's.
