Quick response to my call for quote & kept us informed about scheduling leading up to the day it was complete. The guys did a great job and cleaned up debris, etc. We are very pleased.

Jim, who owns Henry's blacktop, is an incredibly nice gentleman. We moved to West Virginia Aug 2015 and later in the fall, we wanted to extend our driveway because it was quite skinny. After calling a few companies, we found Henry's paving. Jim came out and spent time with explaining the differences between extending the driveway, resealing it or completely redoing it while extending it. He said if we redid it completely he would also provide me with a estimate to reseal the driveway in a year so that it would continue our warranty. We spent 6100.00 redoing our driveway. Of course, we had to take out a loan and the main reason we went with them is because of the warranty they offered. This past spring (a year after we had our driveway redone), the driveway began to crack. I called Jim and he promptly came out. When he saw it, he asked me if I still had the estimate he gave me. I went and got what he provided to me and he said that the prices had gone up from last year but he would honor the resealing estimate, which was 560.00. We signed our paper (yes, we made a copy) and sent it back to them. Shortly after we sent the signed paper, we got a phone call from his wife. She was not happy with the estimate and told me it was too low but they'd honor it. She made an appt to have the resealing done. The first appt was cancelled due to weather. They then called a 2nd time to set up a time to have the resealing done. We had to call a week before the appt date because we had a family issue. It has now been 2 months and we called them back in an attempt to get this completed prior to the winter weather. We spoke to a girl who said she had an estimate for 900.00+. which astounded us. We never had that estimate. She said someone came and gave us an estimate and my husband has called them. He spoke to a girl that said they had an estimate for 980.00 and they'd set up the appt. We said no, we had been trying to set up the appt based on the estimate that Jim had provided to us when we got the original estimate. A couple of hours later, we received a call from Jim's wife. She was very ugly to me and told me the original estimate was written in April of 2015. I told her we did not live in the state then, how could he have given me an estimate at that time. Then she said it stated summer 2015. She was very ugly and nasty to me and refused to honor the resealing estimate (which was part of the contract initially provided to us) and said she would do it for 980.00. What a scam! We will now go to court because they were supposed to fix any problems in the driveway within the first year, and Jim guaranteed it would be fixed when they resealed it. I believe the company would be good if Jim Well's wife would honor Jim's estimate and word. I would DEFINITELY NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! Now, should they decide to come back and honor the price that Jim Wells gave me to seal the driveway and fix the problems that occurred in the first year. then I will be more than happy to retract this review otherwise I must say that this company just takes the money and does not honor their contract or their word.

This might just be the worst company i've ever encountered. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.
