I have worked with this company on several projects, so far they have always shown up ontime.

Feb 4, 2015
In dealing with this company I discovered one owner (Clint) to be very helpful, while their actual, on the ground crew boss (also a Holderman) was rude and went on a expletive filled rant after trapping me in my driveway. We had arranged to have our driveway approach paved with the agreement that the company would call and set a time to come do the job. Without any notice, they appeared and began setting up. I arrived and, after Clint apologized for not calling, I requested 15 minutes to get my family out of the house and send our heating subconractor away (he was making a scheduled service call and he too would be trapped). 15 minutes later, as I drove down my driveway to leave, the crew was paving. As I sat in my truck, one of the crew members hollered, "You are going to have to wait a few minutes." (So lets review ... A company arrived, unannounced, trapped me in my driveway, and then told me I would have to wait). Unfortunately, I had 4 children who had to get back to school after lunch and ... their teachers don't "just wait", so our timeline required us to be able to leave our own driveway. I got out of the truck and said, "I can't wait, I have to get back to work." At this point, some guy (later discovered to be one of the Holdermans) went on a rant, cursing and yelling - right in front of my family. Ultimately, we were forced to drive both of our cars through the asphalt, getting it stuck on our tires and under our cars. They finished the job while we were away but didn't put any tape across the driveway to keep cars from pulling in. When we got home we found the approach with tire mark scuffs. Overall, a severely disappointing experience. The remainder of our 500' driveway (which we planned to use Holderman to pave) will be paved this summer by another company.
