Disclaimer – I am the web designer for the Doug's Site (Jake is the founder and Doug's Dad) This is really quick kids are at school and I have only a few minutes. I setup the website after Doug did the work. I offered my services because I was REALLY impressed with his professionalism. Quality of equipment, quality of work, fair price... To sum it all up: I am not friends with Doug, what I mean by that is that we don't hang out together or go to each others kids parties so it's not like I am saying this for a friend. That said, I HIGHLY recommend Doug's services. When I do see him, I can walk up to him and shake his hand and look him straight in the eye and him back at me because he does provide at quality product and I am always honored to know a professional. The only issue I had was self inflicted because when I called for the driveway, I was not in any real rush. He gave me a pretty big window like two months as I recall (again I wasn't in a rush so I was not pressing – also thinking it would give me time to come up with the money) Within just a two days later he called up and said I can be there tomorrow morning. Erh??? I thought he would be months and months (based on my experience with other contractors) and I would have time to install underground plumbing for electrical and drainage. I thought if I put this guy off I will not see him for months and months (again before I knew him) So I said OK. He showed up and didn't quit till the job was done. SO before you have the driveway put in... just put in some plumbing for electrical – EVEN if you have zero plans... This way you are covered because as soon as that pavement goes on, the next day you'll need electrical on the other side for some reason.
