Extremely dishonest individual who has no moral compass when it comes to business dealings and who blatantly attempts to cheat and lie about the work and materials used and has no problem looking you in the face as he lies about what he is doing. Used Rudy twice...first time was on a large winery project where he poured 3 slabs for us...all three were so severely uneven and out of level we had to pay the framer to shim over half the walls so the plate heights would be even....this was not the larger issue though. Rudy would agree to do additional small projects on the site as a "favor" then would invoice a ridiculous amount. More disturbing is that he billed for double the amounts of fill dirt delivered to the site multiple times and duplicated tickets and tried to pass them off in the stack of deliveries as additional deliveries and was caught red handed trying to double bill and bill for deliveries never made. the number of deliveries was also verified when we called the dirt pit to which he tried to tell us he brought dirt from his yard. I gave him the benefit of the doubt on that job as we were dealing with very difficult clients as possibly a misunderstanding and used him on another custom home. Soon as it came time to process the first invoice Rudy had added line items as extras that were in the original contract and attempted to bill for several thousand more than agreed to. when confronted about this he removed the additional items. He then proposed to deliver and spread 10 loads of fill dirt and do final lot prep and when asked to provide the 10 delivery tickets again he attempted to slip 4 duplicate tickets in the stack in order to show 10 deliveries....long story short this individual is a dishonest, unethical individual who attempts to pull a bait and switch over and over...user beware
