This company did a great job paving our large driveway in Wellsville, UT last week (9/29-30/17) at a very reasonable price.. The company owner John Carroll personally came by several times to ensure the work was going okay. But that wasn't at all necessary. The crew chief Carlos and workers: Laramie, Tony, (and other terrific workers) very skillfully graded, placed and compacted the sub-material and asphalt, and applied a sealer - with great care, coordination and expertise. Our family couldn't be more pleased with this company's work and their comprehensive 3-year warranty. We highly recommend them.

Permanent Pavement Corp. These guys are slick, fast talking rip-offs. They offered a great deal of 3-4 thousand for the job, I asked for a small amount of extra work and the price at the conclusion of the job more than doubled. Amount came to $12750.00. Over $8000.00 above original bid. I was able to talk them into a little more reasonable price of $ 9000.00, still $5000.00 over bid amount. The work is not holding up after 2 weeks and a minor rain fall. In 6 months it will be nothing but a black gravel driveway. I did not get any instructions or offer to do seal coat. We will see if the one year warranty and guarantee is honored. UPDATE....8/4/17...I have been contacted by this company. They say they will go the extra mile to make this job right. UPDATE...8/14/17...These guys are working hard to make things right. UPDATE...9/11/17... These guys have honored their commitment to try and keep my new driveway from turning out bad.

This is a scam. Do not trust these guys. They will lead you to believe you are getting a great price for high quality pavement but they are actually laying a very cheap product and they will not honor any warranty they promise. The materials they use are basically gravel, tar and an optional sealant (which adds to the cost). The base and top coat were not to the specs we agreed on, and they were in and out in 4 hours for a large driveway. It looked great at first, until a week later when I started seeing large indentations up to 2" deep from the wheels of normal parked cars and family vans. Then the weeds started coming through. I called and called and texted over the space of the past 7 weeks and was promised they would address the issue and that they would send someone up to look at it five times over. Just excuse after excuse and then at one point Tom became angry with me and told me just to spray the weeds and push the asphalt back in just like they would because he did not want to send anyone up. The wheel indentations are from poor compaction and are permanent, not just from normal "warm temperatures" as they tried to play it off. They dismissed any conversation about needs for a permit and that they would take care of things with the county if necessary but now I'm facing a huge issue there and can't proceed with my construction plans. Now they will not return calls or any attempt to contact them. FYI, their "office address" is a virtual office in SLC, and their original business address is a trailer park in Vernal. Buyer beware. If you search "pavement scams" on youtube you will see similar pitches and results all over the country.

Did a job for me. Bad workmanship and unresponsive afterwards. I also noticed that one of the five star reviews below is from one of the Sales guys.

They showed up at my door unexpectedly, gave me one hour to decide if I wanted them to do the work, kept rushing my decision, distracted me while they laid the asphalt off-center, and then told me they did not want to bring additional material so the driveway would be centered. Plus the work was shoddy....I anticipate the entire asphalt driveway to become black gravel within 6 months as it is already doing that at the top of the driveway. Plus all sorts of ants have now come through the asphalt, red ants and black ants, so what does that say about the depth of the asphalt (which was supposed to be 3"). Plus there was no regard to rolling aluminum cans from drinks the employees were drinking into the driveway. Shoddy, rushed work. Now the big question will be whether they honor their one-year warranty.....
