I hope they pave better than they drive. A man in the company vehicle almost ran into several of us drivers trying to cut everyone off while merging by the Tacoma Mall today. Speaks to character. Must have been an urgent paving job.

They don't do what they say and blame you as the customer! Suppose to start a job. They Didn't start it blamed our employees. Called to talk to estimator and get to the bottom of what happened. He didn't care about it said we had 15 seconds to decide if we are going to use them or not! I said f... this I am a customer and was told F. U! I am just saying we simple asked a question and wanted clarification! They are to much on a high horse because they do 50 McDonald's a year. So if your not a McDonald franchise beware!

After having trouble with another contractor, I hired Global Paving to install a new asphalt driveway. They happened to be working on another project nearby so they were able to start my project the very next day. I was a little apprehensive since they were eager to start and even bid a very low price for the project (I had received 2 other bids, Global Paving gave the lowest bid). My contact was John. He communicated very well, and arrived on time the next morning. I had already excavated the site where the driveway would be installed, but it needed more gravel and needed to be leveled. He had a crew of 4 guys installing my 1,200 sq ft driveway; they were fast and clearly have been doing this for quite a while. The guy running the skid steer was incredibly fast and did a perfect job leveling the site precisely how I wanted. They laid the asphalt per my request (a little thick since I will be storing a large camp trailer on it), compacted and smoothed everything out flat. They also made a very smooth transition from the driveway to the road. They had made quite a mess while working but after they were done they did a great job cleaning up and didn't leave any trace of a mess behind. They finished the project in about 4.5 hours, but I suspect that they could have finished in much less time if not for the fact that they had to wait for gravel and the asphalt to arrive. I am VERY happy with the driveway and my experience with Global Paving LLC. If I ever need any more asphalt paving work done, I will definitely call them back.

First Lutheran Community Church in Port Orchard was in dire need of a new parking lot! The old lot (installed in 1968) had been patched so many times and what wasn't patched was alligatored beyond repair! The entire lot needed to be torn up, regraded, new drains installed, add a new sub base and a light fixture needed to have the feed wires relocated! With bids (we had at least 10 bids) ranging from $40,000 to over $125,000 we had to be very careful stewards of the church's funds! (Global came in in the middle of the bids) It took months to make our final decision. Global came out on top being the most responsive company to all of our questions (and believe me there were lots of them!), special needs and budget. The big day arrived and the tear up began! The kids in our daycare had a blast seeing all the big trucks and machines all over the place. I was most impressed with the fact that a supervisor was always on site to make sure everything went without a hitch. We were very impressed at the speed and accuracy of the work being done. If there was anything that was being done that needed my input I was called out to see what the options were. And I asked questions, lots and lots of them! They were all answered to my satisfaction right on the spot. All of the workers were friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful of our property and surroundings. From start to finish took only 3 days for a massive 28,000 + sf lot to be completely finished and striped. This company is the best! Each person involved from the office staff to the truck drivers knew what there job was and did it to perfection! When I look out at our beautiful new lot it was worth every penny! Very poor service and performance. We agreed on 4 inch asphalt. After a couple of month, asphalt was chipped, we picked a piece it was not even 2 inches. I called manager, they came took a look and said they will fix it. Since then they don't pick a phone and never come back. Don't recommend them.
