First no phone call was given to let me know when they were coming. Luckily I happened to call on the very day they were coming causing me and my family to scramble to clear the driveway. Now the driveway is done but they didn't follow the original design of the driveway which creates a pretty, but completely useless area where I used to be able to park a car but now can not. Called and left message. Called and talked to receptionist...they said they would send someone out....that was a week ago

I've called FVA at least 15 times about the cracking in my driveway which was installed 2 months earlier. I have not heard from their office or Brad about what they going to do about this problem. I'm VERY unsatisfied with their workmanship and communications with me on this problem. If I have call the BBB and file in small claims court I will do that. All I want is a nice driveway......

Poor quality and communication. Needed to threaten legal action in order to have them re-seal the parking lot which didn't even last one season. Would highly NOT RECOMMEND this company for quality reasons.

Because my business operates on weekends, I stated when I awarded the work to FVA that I would need to give plenty of notice to my employees prior the actual sealing being done so they could plan accordingly, and not set appointments in our office while the parking lot was inaccessible . I got a call from FVA on a Wednesday or Thursday, and they wanted to do the work that weekend. I was dismayed and reminded them that I needed more notice than that due to the nature of the business, so we agreed that the work would be done the following weekend. I informed all of our employees about the future date. On Sunday I got a call from one of my employees that FVA was at the office doing the work, a week early! One of the workers was told by my employee that she thought the work was to be done the following weekend. That is when FVA should have stopped the work and called me. They didn't...they just finished the job and cordoned off the lot, which lead a situation in which our clients who were arriving for appointments were unable to park in our lot. I called the person from FVA who originally agreed to the following weekend and he seemed not to care, no apology, no explanation. The other issue has to do with the quality of the work. I wish I could share photos here, but suffice it to say that in many spots, where there was grass growing up through the existing driveway cracks, the grass was still there, just covered in black sealant. The proposal clearly states that FVA will "Clean and dry cracks with heat lance. This tool provides 3000 degree heated compressed air to the crack for preparation." If this was done, it was not on a consistent basis because grass would not survive that. I called FVA , explained the situation, and asked to talk to the person who prepared my quote. I never got a call back. I did notice that some time after my call, the parking lot was cleaned up a bit where the grass had been, but there are still some bad spots. The only communications from FVA after I requested to talk to someone was the final bill with the phrase "All work is complete. Thank You" - I can't believe that someone would not return the call of a disgruntled customer. I believe that if I had gotten a call, some show of concern, or an apology of any sort, I would not have written this review. I sent payment today to fulfill my obligation, but do not feel good about this company at all.

My neighbor and myself received quotes on blacktop for my new store. We have 11,940 square feet. Brad quoted us 12,800 square feet. He was $6000 higher the the other bid. We called him to see if he made a mistake. He said he didn't and the price was the price. So we gave the bid to the competitor. This is when the problem begin. My neighbor is 87 years old. Well, Brad called my neighbor and started yelling and swearing at him, because he didn't get the work. Then he called my neighbors son and did the same thing. Telling him that $6000 is chump change and he should have gotton the work. I think this guy went psycho. Stay away from this company. He almost gave my neighbor a coronary.
