The most horrible service you can get. I have banked with RBC for 15 years. This isn’t my home branch but thank goodness it isn’t, or else I would have switched banks. I was trying to set up a personal loan at the beginning of January. The advisor I was talking to got sick mid-January and till now, still isn’t better. No one attempted to call me until I texted my life and benefits advisor from the Bonnie Doon branch. She told me to contact Lindsey, who emailed me twice before she passed it off to another person named Jyl... After talking to Jyl she said to email her the document... shortly after another advisor, Neel, called and said that he is taking over my application. He basically said he is waiting for some paperwork from me... I essentially told him how to do his job. Like if you’re taking over, get the pervious advisor to forward the emails to you. Don’t have the client regurgitate everything back over the phone. There is no communication between these advisors and I have been passed off to THREE different advisors. This is unacceptable customer service for clients... if I hadn’t emailed regarding some questions I had, I wouldnt have found out that my original advisor has been sick and I doubt anyone would have contacted me... it’s now been 1.5 months since the initial application setup. Very disappointed.

I agree with the most recent reviews here. This is the WORST RBC branch in Edmonton. There is no customer service what so ever. There is no greeting when you walk through the front doors and no smile in any of the tellers that I have ever had. Trust the other reviews and try avoiding this branch. If you can stop at another RBC branch do so. You can thank me later on.

Unbelievable how ridiculous I was treated. 17 minutes on hold to talk to a person who puts me through to an answering machine to leave yet another message . I can't get in to see an advisor because he is booked with a client... wait for it... the client was me!!! I'm not sure they ever use their own system, it's not set up for convenience. Waist of my time all around.
