Heard wonderful things about this mortgage company, so I was very excited to get the ball rolling with purchasing my first home. However, the consultant we were working with, Jaime Suro, was quite difficult. We had to constantly reach out to him and ask for status of our application. I had to ask 7 questions to every 'update' email that was sent because it was not clear to what someone in any industry besides Loan Consultanting could understand. I feel like I had to do most of the research and that he wasn't there to help me. I understand that our situation was a little difficult, but I did not feel like he had our best interest at heart. I understand that buying a home is not a quick process, however, I do not feel like we should have been kept in the dark until we reached out first. Unfortunately, I had to stop the application process with Accunet as I did not feel comfortable with this consultant. It really goes to show on the type of customer service we were getting, because I just had a conversation with Landmark Credit Union, and they were able to give me more information in the last 15 minutes than Jaime with Accunet could. Maybe it was just luck of the draw, and we weren't assigned to someone that actually cared.
