I think that the negative reviews about this branch are true. I have HSBC Premier, and I think that the service is ok. I would recommend HSBC only if you have multi-currency bank accounts. I usually go upstairs and go to the front desk for them do some things like open a Bank Draft, but I need to go back down. I think that the HSBC Premier line should be exclusive to Premier Clients, and also that the Seniors should have their Debit Cards checked. The lines are very slow, but I can guarantee you that there are usually only 2 tellers open. I do do all my banking online though, so I rarely do need to go to the lines. The service is really slow, and for instance, I once had to open a bank draft at HSBC and I needed to wait for 30 minutes, and during that time, I also called my CIBC Imperial Service Advisor to open a bank draft for me. Even before the HSBC was done, my advisor called me saying that I could pick my Bank Draft up anytime. This was really weird, as when I walked over to CIBC, the lines were fill with people, estimated wait time 30 minutes. If HSBC is full wait times are longer. Weirdly, another time I opened another Bank Draft and it only took 10 mins. Recently, my Relationship manager resigned from Fortuna House to pursue his work in Mortgages, and it has been over 2 months and I still have not gotten any notice of a new Relationship manager. HSBC has slow service, but I would definitely recommend going there only if you have Premier. as my mom said, "汇丰拿着大客户,其他银行拿小客户” (HSBC has the big clients, while the other banks have the small clients)

when i ask for bank statement(certificate of deposit) for vacation ,they reject and said they dont print statement here . u have to print it at home.i explain i need to stamp on the statement n he reject again"hsbc dont stamp on statement". when i ask transfer from hsbc to cibc ,they reject n said they only trasnfer from hsbc to hsbc in the branch.u have to online banking by using security device.i cant imagine how senior and uneducated people transfer in the bank. once,i deposit hundred dollars of coin into personal account .bank teller require 3id include bc card!!3 id!!!! as he said' bc card is not reliable'then he ask lots of stupid question.we spent at least 15mins for deposit coin. some bank teller told me 'you can deposit or transfer by using atm or online banking instead of counter'

worst bank ever. they were caught money laundering overseas so now they harass every month about your bank deposits and where it came from even though you work and live here. usually only 2 tellers running the whole bank, the line up wait time is no less than 25mins. noone guides the elderly so they lineup at the premier line and cut everybody off. HSBC is losing billions and closing branches around the world.

They need new and younger management. Bureaucracy bank. Stay away if you don't need them. They close like at 4PM PST.
