I have all my banking & investments with RBC and I never had any issues with them. When I need to go into the branch the line-ups are OK the level of service is goo too. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about

Bank teller was involved in a collusion with a fraud. He asked me to accept a bank draft from one of his partner in crime and assured me that the funds are safe once the draft gets deposited. After a few days the draft was voided (fake or cancelled, I'm unsure - RBC unwilling to answer) Lost nearly $9000. RBC made multiple threat phone calls daily to ask for the funds back.

Had a fantastic experience with a banking advisor Tyler Marsh. The account work I needed done was somewhat difficult and last minute but he was accommodating and put in the extra effort to get it done. See him for you banking needs that require meeting an advisor. Four stars because I have never been in there when the teller lineup isn't ridiculous, sometimes to the door. Maybe hire more tellers? or even better, update protocols so we can complete teller services through online banking.

They are not interested in obtaining new accounts. When I wanted to open an account I was told it's not so easy by the teller. THERE ARE CRITERIA I NEED TO MEET. Not just anyone can open an account. I thanked her for the information, and left.

I would not recommend this bank as their service has decline drastically and would move the second I get a chance. What has happen with their service?
