Exceptional Service. Excellent and knowledgeable staff.

This branch is one of the worst branches ever when comes to customer service. I've been dealing with RBC for more than 13 years and gave them at least 10 million dollars of business over the years. on one incident I asked for a certified check from cashier and simply asked her if she can waive the charges for me, which is 7 dollars at the most, and said CIBC across the street waives it for me all the time, cashiers response was; "well, this is RBC, Not CIBC. if they do it doesn't mean we will do it" I was stunned by her response. another incident couple of days ago, I walked in to withdraw more than 5 grand and cashier tells me she can't gimme more than 5 grand. that's the limit per customer. okay understandable. I asked her to call the manager to have a word with him and told her that I know him and told her he will be able to do it for me and have done it in past. instead of calling him for me, her responce was " manager can't do nothing for you, he will tell you exactly what i told you" so at that point I was like I will just go online share my experience with people about this branch. I'm pretty pissed at this branch and will be writing to their head office regarding these incidents. thinking about giving all of my business to CIBC. much more professional and polite.

Hardly any waiting. Was out of the bank in 10 minutes. Had to collect a form n leave. They were quick and efficient in their process.

I have been banking with Royal Bank for close to 20 years and have all my services with them. I have never received such poor service before. I had a check from a Lawyers Trust account and was told I needed to have it certified before I could deposit it or they would put a hold on the funds. I tried to protest and had the employee speak with her manager but was given the same answer. I went to another branch and they were smart enough to realize it was from a Law Firms Trust account and deposited the funds with no issues. I went to Vancity and they told me the same that no certification is required as it is from a Trust account. It is sad to see that in a time sensitive situation that the bank would not be their to help you.

Wonderful and helpful tellers. Usually rather quick, and willing to answer questions. The lineup can get rather lengthy, and often it is. But usually it's in and out in 20min at most, if it's a busy day.
