Like cheers, this is a place where everybody knows my name. And they're always glad I came. Best staff. I enjoy coming in to do my banking.

New atm’s don’t work with foreign cards like the old ones, which if your also an RBC customer is not convenient. classic rbc.

I had an appointment with an advisor and I rushed on my way to make sure I arrived on time. The branch was quiet and I was the only person there literally yet I was waiting for a while and the advisor came out from their office, and didn’t even apologies for keeping me waiting! Also, I found the advice convoluted and unclear - even though I kept saying I’m not really sure what you’re talking about and asking clarifying questions the advisor just kept going on with the information as if they’d memorized it and just want to vomit it all out. Really unhelpful.

Unfortunately this particular branch of RBC seems to be a little frustrating to deal with. There have been a few times when I requested a basic service (i.e. update on a loan balance outstanding) and they were unable to complete the request (though I went to the main branch at Bay and Front and they were able to complete the request without any issues). Not sure if it is a system access thing or something else but I would recommend choosing an alternative branch when possible.
