I have used this branch a number of times and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. Following a recent relocation, I am moving my branch from Ottawa to Toronto and this will be the branch I choose to bank at - both for convenience of location (just near Bay Street station), but also for the staff who have on every occasion demonstrated a culture of professionalism, warmth and excellence in guiding their clients through their financial options/solutions. Bravo.

Just tried to complete a credit card app by providing 2 pieces if I.D. Not only were the staff incompetent, they didn't even seem to want to help me. I had to book an appointment in the end but this isn't my regular branch and they had zero interest in accommodating me at another branch. It's incredible that customer service like this still exists in such a competitive industry. Rather than offering incentives to sign up for credit cards, how about investing in customer service training?

Despite the fact that I was looking to open a basic account, one of their Premier Relationship Managers provided to me personalised service, attentive to my needs and spending the time to explain how the bank worked in Canada. I am most grateful for the courtesy and service provided by this HSBC branch and would recommend.

I came here to close my bank account and take out the money in it. I was told by a manager at other branch of HSBC that if I closed my bank account within a year, the bank is gonna claw back the promotional bonus I got. But the staff here are very nice to tell me that isn't true. They kindly helped me closed my account and even gave me a free bank draft for the money inside my account. Besides, The staff are very friendly and the layout of this branch is very distinct from other banks. I will surly consider to use HSBC's service in the future.
