I came to this branch about my checkbook that was stolen from my car. I was told that my checkbook would be labeled on my account as stolen and get ID with each check withdrawl. I learned today that this is not the correct way of handling this situation. The correct way is to close and reopen my account under a new number. Between yesterday and the day before $1800 was stolen from my bank account. I now have to wait 3 to 5 days for an investigation to be conducted, and my account is frozen for withdrawals until the investigation is over and my money is refunded before it can get closed and reopened. Had this been taken care of properly before, I wouldn't be forced to go through this.

I had a credit card ordered for me under my parents name to pay for physiotherapy and medication at the beginning of Decemeber 2017. After a few weeks of waiting I decided to check up on it. I spoke with a manager named Jennifer who assured me she would get on top of the situation for me. She got back to me and told me that "although the form was sent in, something went wrong on their side." It sounded like an obvious lie, but I was willing to overlook that if she was able to fix the issue. Fast forward to the middle of January and the card has still not arrived. I phoned in and was able to speak with a teller who assured me the card was on its way and Jennifer would be in touch to keep me updated. Well, its now February and I have had to source alternate means to pay for my physiotherapy and medication for two months now. I phoned into the branch at a meagre attempt at an update and guess what? Jennifer the all star manager is on vacation for at least another week and a half! Ive been told by yet another RBC employee that they will "look into it." At this point I honestly feel like a contestant on a hidden camera game show, waiting for the cameras to jump out and surprise me, telling me this absolute nightmare of customer service has all been a joke..... the funny kind. I can promise you I will be cancelling my services with RBC, but after such a jaw dropping display of neglect for the customer, I highly doubt anyone in your organization will care.

Credit card went to the bank but I didn't receive a phone call. They destroyed it. Ordered another and it didn't come in time for a trip to the US. They took NO responsibility.

You guys must be racist in your service delivery. I ordered for a new client card same time with my friend and he got his after 10 days. I am still waiting on mine 16 days later. . I have called your customer service center and no one seems to know anything about my card. The funny this is that when it comes to charging my account for all your related interest charges, you do it on time but when it comes to simple service delivery of things like my client card , you take your time . What is still astonishing me is that my Caucasian friend got his card before me yet we ordered same time. This speaks a lot about you RBC. Thank you. I am most definitely going to pass on this to my community members and seek advice on another bank whose service looks beyond my name and ethnicity and are friendlier too. Thank you
