It was great working with Matthew at PennFirst Mortgages. Made the process easy. I would absolutely recommend working with him and his team.

Matthew (PennFirst Mortgages) helped us shop and secure the mortgage for our vacation home over a year ago now. If you have not applied for a mortgage since the problems of 2008 and 2009, you may not be aware how difficult the process is. Matthew was definitely our guiding light on navigating and expediting the process. He also did a good Job of shopping the rates and securing us the best deal available at the time.

My husband and I moved from Florida in Oct. 2016 and planned to immediately buy a home. We applied for a home loan at several banks which either denied the loan, because we were only receiving income from an online business at the time or approved a loan with an amount too low to purchase a single-family home. We finally found a “diamond in the ruff” HUD home after looking over a year and then looked for a lender that would offer a loan with terms that worked for us. We found Penn First Mortgage and applied. Matthew was a pleasure to work with and he facilitated the process to move things forward and make it happen. He was easy to communicate with and always explained everything in the process and answered our questions. I definitely would recommend Penn First and Matthew Oswald to anyone looking to purchase real estate.

I finally found the house of my dreams! I Went back to the mortgage company that gave me my pre-approval letter only to be denied! Devastated, I gave up the idea that I would ever own this dream house or any home. Then I met Matthew! He had such a positive attitude and was so driven to make this happen for me I just sat back and let him do his magic! It turns out with a second look he was able to work it out. He made the process very easy and fast! He made sure I was educated about everything that was happening and was very available. I couldn't believe it! After having my dreams completely smashed I am now the a very proud Homeowner! I got such a great price and interest rate thanks to Matthew. He negotiated deals I know no one else would have. I would recommend Penn State Morgage to anyone who actually wants to get down to owning their home! Thank you so much!
