I felt like Guild Mortgage's communication and customer service was very poor. I used their web portal to start the loan process. I received two or three phone calls from them within the hours that I work and am unavailable. I tried to call the return number that I was left back and I received an automated system that said the number could not be completed as dialed. I chose to email the head of the branch and asked her to contact me through e-mail since I am unavailable by phone during normal business hours and I never heard back. A few weeks go by and I receive a letter in the mail stating that Guild Mortgage had already ran my credit even though no one had spoken to me. It was almost three months before I received an e-mail from the head of the branch about the mortgage process. At this point, I had already moved on with another company and put an offer down on a house. I would not recommend Guild Mortgage. Maybe I just had bad luck, but ignoring someone for three months after you have ran their credit is not the way to receive customers.

A friend recommended Guild Mortgage to me. I called & talked to Paula from the beginning. She was so helpful right from the start. She made me feel valued & welcomed as a customer. Paula & her team were very professional, friendly, helpful & dependable. If we had a question, they would get back to us right away. I would recommend Guild Mortgage to anybody buying or refinancing their home! We would use them again in the future!! Thank you for everything!

This was my first home purchase, and it couldn't have gone smoother! Having rented for years, the decision to buy was a big one and I was a bit nervous about the process. I was basically a child when it came to terms, steps in the process, etc. I also had heard various horror stories from other people about buying/selling houses which only added to my anxiety. That being said, Guild Mortgage was awesome throughout the entire process from start to finish, particularly Paula and Kelli who I mainly worked with. They were always incredibly prompt with their responses and did what they said they would do. They were very clear about expectations and what was needed from me, and that did not change at all throughout the process. On a more personal note, the loan officers were super friendly and personable! I received the recommendation from a friend who had worked with Guild previously, and will now be passing on the recommendation should I come across any others looking to purchase a home... Thanks so much for making this an EASY purchase! :-)

I had inquired about refinancing my home with the mortgage company with whom I'd been doing business. I came away from that experience feeling discouraged - with a low financial self-esteem. I consulted my daughter, Jenny Francis, who works for Guild Mortgage. She wanted to put me in the hands of "the best!" Indeed, she did! Paula and Kelly are a top-notch team. * They immediately reached out to me *. They were positive and supportive in every way *. Every aspect of the transaction was managed in a timely fashion *. They were able to lend more than I dared ask for Suffice it to say, they well exceeded my expectations. I am a very happy Guild customer!!

I had a very positive experience. Paula and her team made the transaction simple. Being a first time buyer, it went better than expected.
