This was my first home purchase, and it couldn't have gone smoother! Having rented for years, the decision to buy was a big one and I was a bit nervous about the process. I was basically a child when it came to terms, steps in the process, etc. I also had heard various horror stories from other people about buying/selling houses which only added to my anxiety. That being said, Guild Mortgage was awesome throughout the entire process from start to finish, particularly Paula and Kelli who I mainly worked with. They were always incredibly prompt with their responses and did what they said they would do. They were very clear about expectations and what was needed from me, and that did not change at all throughout the process. On a more personal note, the loan officers were super friendly and personable! I received the recommendation from a friend who had worked with Guild previously, and will now be passing on the recommendation should I come across any others looking to purchase a home...
