Staff severely challenged with follow ups and/or completing requests. Either highly disorganized or do not care however that has been the standard based several interactions with multiple individuals. Some seem to be disinterested. Avoid coming into the branch at all costs however complex transactions require me to. Cringe at even the thought. Seems to be the overall trend in the Brampton area since I've had similar, frustrating dealings at other RBC locations. The bar needs to be raised from poor to average - at minimum. Level of service (or non-service) may work for your demographic but not for me.

Went in to open a tax free savings account.i got approached by the branch advisor .. I felt like I was dealing with a car sales representative ... He opened a chequeing account for me and said I was pre approved for a credit card automatically I said but I don't want a credit card I just want a tax free savings account, he said if you don't want the credit card you can cancel it once you receive it in the mail, I said no I don't want the credit card and I don't want a chequeing account either. He did not listen to what I wanted,... Than he tells me okay now I need to see another representative, so I saw another guy and he asks me what I want to do with my money how I want to invest in it? I said no I just want a tax free savings he was confused and I was confused i said I just want a tax free savings account but he opened a chequeing account and a credit card and I do not want neither of those than he goes let me go talk to him and he comes back and says that the advisor told him that in order to get a tax free savings account we need to open a chequeing account first and move it to tax free savings account and cancel the chequeings account after??? I was confused and the investment guy was also confused , he thought I wanted to invest because the branch advisor told him I wanted to invest which was not true at all and a big lie... All I wanted was a tax free savings account and that's it, it was such a headache dealing with this, i was having second thoughts about even branching with RBC, my sister branches at this location and i called her to ask her who she deals with and she told me the assistant managers name so I told the investment guy if I can see her, so he got her for me and I told her how I feel and was not happy, she told me that she was going to cancel my chequeing account and made sure the credit card was also cancelled. She was not sure why he opened a chequeings account in the first place, I was going to take my money and just branch with my other bank I only wanted another bank because I wanted to just keep that for savings and wouldn't Spend it, She made me feel better and more welcome and so did the investment guy, however the branch advisor needs to listen more to what others need and not just do whatever the hell he wants, he didn't even print anything for me to give , however the assistant manager printed out the tax free savings information and put it in a folder for me and explained to me everything, if it wasn't for her I would have taken my money and just walked out... I would never recommended this branch to anyone... I was going to transfer my daughter account to RBC but I will not do that anymore and I might even cancel my account with RBC and just branch with My own banking...

Nice service and opened an account with Sandeep Gill, the financial advisor at RBC. As a new comer to Canada, you get all the facilities and 6 months of free Signature account...!!! Plus attractive first time car loans...!!!

Rude and not patient. Ever since they won best customer service this branch feels like customer service no longer matters.
