Very friendly and helpful branch! Although they are on the opposite end of the city from me, I will continue to come to this branch for my in-person banking.

Literally spent less than 5min to get a bank draft for a home purchase. So efficient and friendly. Great location! Christian was very helpful and incredibly well versed in what information I needed to provide him to make my transaction go through.

A very professional, welcoming bank! I had an issue that unfortunately needed to be escalated to the manager. I found Mr.King to be very respectful and extremely knowledgeable. I will be a loyal customer to this location.

Try to get someone on the phone. Impossible.

I went into my branch for my business account because I wanted personal help with a large wire transfer to the US. I provided the information the teller needed. After a few days, the payee had not received the money. When I checked with the teller he informed me that the transfer had been rejected due to an incorrect account number. There would be an admin fee charged by the US bank. After another day I noticed the money had not been transferred back to my account. I left a message for the teller and went into the branch the next morning. He smiled, shook my hand and told me the money was back in my account and they had even waived the admin fee and the initial charge for making the transfer. All was good. What he failed to tell me is that I lost $600 in the process in the difference between the bank's buying and selling conversion rates. I discovered that when I next checked my account. I called to find out why he hadn't mentioned that and to explain why I had lost so much in the exchange when the dollar had been stable. He didn't offer any clear explanation. I called back and left a message for a manager to call me back. Then I went in to see the branch manager. The branch manager made no effort to inform me that the transfer was rejected, or to figure out what went wrong. He simply, defensively sided with the teller and claimed the bank had done nothing wrong and essentially I was SOL. I later conducted the transfer online with the help of RBC's operator. In walking through the process, it became clear that the teller had failed to enter the information of the receiving bank and only entered information for an intermediary bank. The account number was wrong because it was for a different bank. Was it naive for me to think that I should seek personal assistance from my local branch, rather than impersonal online assistance? Or to expect that my business branch manager would step up to the plate and actually investigate what happened before making a snap judgment and losing my future business?
