Speaking with Nicolle was the best thing we did in order to become homeowners. Nicolle doesn’t just care about setting up a mortgage for you, she works with you from start to finish. Even if you don’t have a down payment, go meet with Nicolle. She can provide saving and financial tips to make your dreams come true. For example, taking advantage of employee share purchase plans in our workplaces. When we first met with Nicolle, we were not financially ready to buy. She provided us with real numbers and accountability- every so often she would check in to see how our saving was going. Fast forward a year later, we were able to enter the buying market. Although it was difficult with all the bidding wars in the GTA, Nicolle motivated us to stick to our dreams and not give up. When we finally found our place, she was again right there to figure out the mortgage which worked best for us. When I went to my bank that I have been with for 20 yrs, they asked why I didn’t take out a mortgage with them. I responded that they could not offer me what our mortgage broker was providing. Why stay loyal to a bank who may not offer you ideal products instead of letting Nicolle do the leg work to get you the mortgage which works best for you?

In April of 2015, we visited Nicole to try and see if we could afford a condo we were interested in purchasing. Nicole took our information and calculated what mortgage we could afford and the necessary steps we should take to ensure we would get the best rate out there. After doing so, we purchased our condo and began the process of becoming homeowners. Nicole was there every step of the way. She promptly answered our questions and alleviated any concerns we had before we occupied our condo. When the time came to secure our mortgage, Nicole made the process incredibly stress-free. Her advice paid off in the end, as we were able to secure the best mortgage rates out there. Nicole played an instrumental part in our condo purchase and we know we will be using her services in the future. You can’t beat service that offers this type of peace of mind. Thanks Again Nicole

Meeting Nicolle in early 2014 was a game changer. From the moment we spoke on the phone she was helpful in directing me to create a budget, set realistic goals, change my lifestyle habits and outline my intention to be in my first home by 30. After the strain of University, constant travel and not having a sound system for establishing my finances, my credit was incredibly low (low 600's) and my down payment wasn't the greatest. Through her consistent support, (checking in and providing materials and guidance) presence (being a constant source of support and advisor in my life) and belief in me (being a friend and professional) I was able to save more money, clear my debt completely within two years, I made my offer with a credit score of over 750 through Nicolle's guidance, and approached the home ownership process with confidence. In the months leading up to my mortgage application, Nicolle walked me through the lending rules and prepped me to have a successful mortgage application. The other advisor’s I’d spoken to elsewhere were not even as close to being as thorough that Nicolle is. Once we had a mortgage offer and I was ready to move in, Nicolle secured the best rate possible for me and also managed to negotiate really incredible terms for my 5 year fixed rate. To this day she follows up with me to see how I am enjoying my new home. I’d happily recommend her service to anyone else looking to get a mortgage advisor and I’ll certainly use MortgagesbyNik in the future.

My number 1 reason for dealing with MortgagesbyNik is based on the professional service I get. I also find that Nicolle is more concerned with educating her clients financially and the business piece is a bonus rather than her number 1 goal. Nicolle has been very honest with me in my situations and has taught me a few things. She also checks in to see how well I am doing with the strategies we have agreed on. She is great, and I recommend her to any and everyone!

Nicolle is so very knowledgable of the financial industry. I just happened to call Nicolle regarding some mortgage questions and within that conversation I realized I did not have the best deal possible. Nicolle was able to successfully get me into a mortgage with a better interest rate, lower payments and with a full understanding of what I was signing.
