If I could give this waste of time 0 stars, I would. This guy is rude and said that I had default written all over me. I had more than enough cash for a fix and flip loan to bring to the table and we had one partner in our company that he didnâ€™t like the credit score. I found other private money and have done 5 fix and flips since his denial. Donâ€™t waste your time with Bernie Friedberg. The investment game isnâ€™t as simple as a credit score. Now that Iâ€™m a seasoned investor that has watched other flippers get in over their heads and default or sell, I feel comfortable finally writing this review. I was just getting my business started and I guess I wasnâ€™t taken seriously. After we applied, he didnâ€™t even bother to call back. I take credit inquiries seriously and so do my partners and details were discussed before we even applied because of how serious we take it. Long story short, the private lender I use doesnâ€™t even pull credit. The property matters, my experience matters, and everyone is happy. Since I was in a crunch to get funded, we used Merchants Mortgage for our first deal and they are great. I found other private money from there on out because of all the ridiculous credit pulls, but they funded the deal and werenâ€™t rude. Terms were pretty good too. Again, donâ€™t waste your time with this unprofessional and rude man.

We just closed on our first house, and could not be happier with our loan experience! The team was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. We are first-time home buyers, and they helped us get through it all very smoothly. We closed 11 days early. They have a great online system that makes it very easy and clear what documents are required to be uploaded or signed. Could not be happier with the team that helped us, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Let me start by saying my knowledge of the refinance process was slim at best when I began the process and I that I have only been through the refinance services from Cardinal Financial. The reps I worked with were great. Their knowledge and understanding of the process seemed spot on. The communication was great and the agreed upon timelines, for the most part, were met. I thought the online process and customer portal were great too. I could access anything I needed during the process and the digital signature and document process made things much simpler than having to do them at an office with paper. The closing process went smoothly and it was nice to finish everything right in my own home. No office visits at all.

I love working with Cardinal Financial, they have provided funding for multiple investment properties we have purchased. The process is always very fast and simple, we have never had to have an appraisal and we have never had a problem or delay at closing. I would highly recommend Cardinal to anyone looking for a reliable hard money lender.
