The customer service at this company is beyond terrible. Their tax department is incompetent. And escalating issues means absolutely nothing. Been dealing with them for about two months now to fix an escrow issue where two counties are assessing me the same school taxes which only gets paid once. This company wants to almost double my tax bill which is clearly incorrect. This is public information and is easy to determine the issue by simply going online. Every time I call customer service they see the issue and agree it needs to be fixed so they send it to the tax department since it has to go through them to be fixed in their systems. However, it’s been sent to the tax department 4 times now and they can’t figure out what the problem is so they deny the change claiming property taxes are expected to increase which duh but they don’t nearly DOUBLE in one year. Texas law only allows at maximum 10% increase in property taxes anyways. When asked to talk to someone in the tax department I was told they don’t have phones so the only communication to them is via email. I have escalated the issue twice to management being assured it would be fixed but again the tax department apparently is king in this company and management could care less about following up for their so called “customer service.” They will also tell you they will call you with updates when they happen but they don’t. Voicemails and calls to direct numbers get you no answers and no callbacks. You have to chase them down to try and get answers to their problems. Unfortunately my loan was sold to this company. If you can, save yourself the headache and find another loan servicing company! This company is a joke.

Lakeview holds the note on our home, after having our original mortgage company selling our mortgage to them. My wife and I were in need of a quick-turn around document executed by Lakeview so that we could secure a construction mortgage (second lien). After having contacted them via website, Lakeview’s customer support department went out of their way to help us get the document we needed in a timely basis, and were very prompt and courteous in their communications along the way. The customer service shown by David A. and his team was incredible and we are very grateful for it.

Completely non-existent customer service. If I could give it no stars, or minus stars, I would. Was on hold three times today for 45 minutes each time. Just the effort to get to hold was Herculean. Was offered to be called back two times as they were experiencing long waiting times. No one ever called back. Was wondering if they were all murdered and I should call 911. Flight of the Bumblebee alternated with Beethoven's Für Elise until they wore a groove in the memory

My husband and I have been trying to refinance our house through Lakeview who purchased our mortgage from our original bank. We had an outstanding tax lien that wasn't accurate and was working with the IRS to get a letter showing it was a mistake on their part and that we didn't have anything outstanding. I was in constant communication with the title company (Dawn) who was great through the process. I got an email from Jennifer (Lakeview) stating it had been 4 months since the process was started and they would need to close the application if they didn't hear from me in 10 days from that email. I called her immediately and explained the situation and that the IRS said it would be no longer than 2 weeks to get it finalized and a letter out to me. Jennifer said no problem just send over the letter when I received it. Even called a few more times to let her know where things stood over the next week and that I had been in contact with the IRS and I would have the letter soon. Sure enough a week later got the letter and immediately scanned it over to Jennifer. No Response. Called Dawn at the title company and she confirmed good to go just need to schedule the closing date. Called Jennifer 5 times over the past week. No Response. Finally got ahold of Scott who originally started the process this morning only to be told they went ahead and closed the application 2 days before I sent the letter. They now can refinance me by starting the process all over again except for 4.5 interest rate it is now 5.37 and $61 more a month on my payment. Did I mention I can't get ahold of anyone to talk to. I will be refinancing my house still but through someone else and getting away from these people as quickly as I can. I have read how they pay escrows late and I guess my only saving grace is we still pay through our original bank and haven't had this issue YET. Be aware.

These clowns take incompetence to a new low. Impossible to speak to a live person, after spending several hours trying to reach someone we connected with some guy who was a total buffoon. Seriously, this guy was absolutely clueless regarding mortgages. Amazing they are still in business.
