By far the worst banking institution I have ever had to deal with in my life. I had an issue with a scamming company charging money from my account, which I then resolved and ended up getting a refund for the money after having to explain my situation over and over and even then it felt like they did not even want to give me my money back. After I have gotten my money back as a "Provisional Credit" I have since gotten a "Provisional Credit Reversal" charge which conveniently charges the money I got paid back again out of my account when my balance is near zero so they can charge me extra overdraft fees. I then had to call and explain the situation to them and ended up getting the money back, but then the same amount for the "provisional credit" got charged again 5 more times over the course of 9 months. With constant overdraft fees and having to argue with incompetent customer service representatives to simply get my money back every time something likes this happens, even when I know I have enough available balance, I will never go to this swindling, con artist, scam factory they call a "bank" ever again.

I don't bank at PNC, but went in to cash a check from a tenant (I do this from time to time if I think the check is bad). I often find that when I cash checks at banks that I do not have accounts with, the staff are fairly rude (recent encounter with 5th 3rd), and occasionally attempt to not cash, and when they do, there is usually a fee. PNC was great, the teller was very friendly, they cashed the check, and they didn't charge a fee.

incredibly awful customer service, whether in person or by phone. Multiple visits and problems. Don't do business with this bank, at least with this branch or with the mortgage division. We submitted paperwork to have direct mortgage payments made, verified the correctness with staff at the branch, and still received dunning notices and daily harassing phone calls-- all due to a problem within their system. Finally had to pay off the mortgage to resolve the problem, and even after that, received more dunning notices and for several weeks. Branch staff had no significant ability to help with this problem. On another occasion, waited to deposit a check at the same branch, only to be directed to, then ignored by, senior staff who were training a new window employee, no other customers waiting. Finally just walked out.

Great and friendly staff. I've never had any problems at this branch or any other PNC branch.

I went to this bank and was kind of scared that someone would rob it, and not because of anything the bank was doing, simply because that's what happens to all the protagonists in the tv shows and such. And of course, I'm the protagonist of my own life story. So anyways, I went into this bank and then I talked to the lady. Or was it a man? I actually don't remember it was like two years ago. Anywho! I talked to (s)he and then (s)he had me sign something with this pen. This pen! This pen was literally the smoothest writing pen i have ever beheld in my sprite and previously deprived hand. The voluptuous contours fit the grip of my hand so perfectly that i want to be buried holding this pen. And don't even get me started on the gliding of the ball pointedness of this beautiful being. It was so motherflipping smooth that the pen laid the ink on the page while my hand held on for dear life to prove that it was worthy of such magnificent majesty. So after I had signed what i had signed (all the while expecting men in black ski masks to come barging in demanding my money and for me to "GET DOWN!" and "SHUT UP!") and i got up to leave. Hold on this is where it gets interesting. I LEFT THE PEN ON THE DESK. Folks, if you ever see that pen wondering down the street or standing on a busy street corner, tell him I called and that my hand craves to ride on his glorious writing adventure. I'll tell you, that pen 10/10, would write with again.
