We have all our accounts with SunTrust including our business accounts, everytime we go into this particular bank to get something notarized, the manager always has an excuse as to why other people are more important and she has no time. The other SunTrusts will bend over backwards to help, not this branch. They need a new manager

Deceptive Business Practices: I recently returned from a business trip with 43000 Czech Koruna (cash) in expense reimbursement. Only a few local banks will work with this currency, so I found a friend with a Suntrust account to exchange this money for me at this branch. They told him there would be a $10 fee. What they DID NOT tell him (in small print at the bottom of the form) was that they were reducing the daily exchange rate by approximately 8%, so the actual cost of the currency exchange was more like $170, not $10. Now why wouldn't a branch bank that is actually set up to serve its customers just tell them that there was an 8-9% currency exchange fee that was going to cost them $170 out of the total exchange of $1960? Because they engage in deceptive business practices and try to pull a fast one over their customer's eyes, that's why. This is exactly what shady exchange counters do at airports, and surprise, it's what this so-called "reputable" bank does as well. It's a total ripoff and not something you would expect from a branch bank that needs local customers to stay in business. If you are looking for a local bank, I would strongly encourage you to avoid SunTrust, who obviously can't be "trusted" to do the right thing for its customers. They would rather rip you off with small print just because they can. Shame on SunTrust and their deceptive business practices.

Bad treat for a regular customer just needed a notary service, there were agents work in the bank at the time we walked in and it was empty, wait for 25 minutes but no one came to help. Instead of helping to give us the service but the agent that we know gave service to a depositor just came . What a customer service. I wanted to close our business account that we have been with this bank for 17 years.

I found them to be very professional, and they made several suggestions that will save me quite a bit of money!
