DO NOT....ABSOLUTELY DO NOT even think of doing business with this company which is a subsidiary of Walters Investment Management Corporation (WAIC). WAIC essentially takes numerous FHA Mortgaged properties owned by Americas' elderly & disabled citizens and pools them into 'mortgage pools' as their investment instruments. These pools primarily are comprised of properties in a 'reverse mortgage'. RMS is a lender & loan servicing agent for these pooled mortgage investments. SERIOUS WARNING! In past RMS has lied to thousands of elders about not losing home through foreclosure. CFPB lawsuit against three largest lenders validates this notification. Still today an onslaught of numerous senior citizens across the U.S.A. suffering foreclosure cases by these lenders claiming 'Contractual Default' by homeowners [aka 'principal residents']. Please DO NOT allow your dear parents or other elder relatives to enter into a reverse mortgage with any reverse mortgage or home equity lender! It will be to their peril as well as yours! Not kidding by any means. Darn serious!

Horrible to have to deal with these type of people after losing a loved one. We were told we had an extension then told we didn't. That's a huge error especially when you're dealing with a HOME not a pair of shoes. Still haven't gotten our payoff. Someone please start a class action asap.

BEWARE, POS company. I am more than happy to smear their bad name everywhere!!!!! Will give Peoples Bank who uses them an earful as well! refuse to allow them to service your loan!!! Contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for your state!!!!! Then your state representatives. Taking advantage of Seniors is horrible.

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, VERY BAD COMPANY!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The do not communicate, do not return phone calls, lose your documents, and then claim they never received them. They tried to auction off my mothers home less than 6 months after her death, even though we have listed it for sale. You may not be able to avoid this terrible company because our loan was sold to them by Wells Fargo Bank. So even if you get a mainstream bank to do your reverse mortgage, these clowns may likely end up with it anyway. They are actually violating federal law, but still won't return a phone call. Had to hear from a lawyer they intended to auction off the house from under us.

This company should be closed down by HUD. The servicing is really terrible. I had a roof replaced on my home. They took my insurance check cashed it and sent me 1/2 of my claim check to get the roof started. After it was completed, my roofer had to sign a waiver that he would not put a lien again the house before they would consider sending me back the balance of the check. Now remember I am the one paying the insurance company. They take your money and make interest on it in their bank. The customer service representatives on the phone are really rude. How can they sleep at night treating seniors the way they do. I was told I could pick up my check at the Houston location and could not have it Fed Ex to me. Well today it has been three weeks and they told me it could not be picked up or FedEx to me. I would get the check in the mail after another 7-10 days. If you have a problem, with them, please file a complaint with the state. Hopefully enough of us complaining about them will get them shut down,
