Where to start? We had a bit of a difficult case when we were shopping for a mortgage. We initially began working with another company who pre-approved us in writing several times, but when it came to final underwriting, we were told that our case was impossible and they wouldn’t be able to get us past final underwriting due to several issues. We called our agent to ask her to cancel our pending contract, but thankfully she instead referred us to Cory at Legend Home Lending. We were not very hopeful, but were willing to try. We spoke with Cory and gave him all the gory details of why the other company killed our loan, after listening he said he couldn’t guarantee anything, but if we were willing to put in the effort than he would try everything. Long story short, Cory asked us for all of our documentation and several other items. As soon as Cory asked, we delivered as soon as we could. The good thing about Cory is he will fight for you as much as you are willing to fight for yourself. He knows exactly what the underwriter is going to ask for and was sure to ask us for those documents before he was asked so he could be prepared to produce them on demand. He saved our contract and got us the approval on our beautiful home. It turns out the other company could’ve gotten us approved, but they weren’t willing to take the necessary steps and simply wanted to work with the “easy” loans. Cory rolled up his sleeves and did the work, he’s a miracle worker. We are very satisfied and grateful we were given his information and highly recommend him and Legend Home Lending.

Long process BUT well worth it. They got me a loan when my credit union wanted to drag its feet. Worked with Cory, he is the best!!!!

Legend’s fees are way too high. I bought a $150,000 house and went with another lender that saved me $2,000.00. Legend charged $385.00 for an appraisal. The appraiser never even entered the house. What a scam. I’m not even sure that is legal. AND, they divulged my personal information to the other party’s realtor. So to sum up, save your hard earned money, go with another lender.
