Dropped a ton of money on a ring at this store and the foundation below the claws cracked. Now they are trying to get me to pay more money for a new warranty because they will not honor my original warranty since they re-opened.

The return/service/warranty at Ben Moss is shameful. I don't know why they're still in business. Would not buy from them again in the future.

My husband and I recently purchased 25th Anniversary Rings from Terri Anne at Ben Moss Jewellers in Kingsway Mall. There was an issue with my husband's ring, and Terri Anne went over and above to make sure it was dealt with to our 100% satisfaction. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase jewellery. She makes the extra effort to make sure her customers are happy.

My fiance recently went to Ben Moss looking for a gemstone for my engagement ring. He gave them criteria, they told him what he was looking for would be a needle in a haystack, but miraculously they found a gem the next day. (Awesome). The lady told him it was "right in his price range" of $3500, but he never gave them a range. Tired of searching (it was an 8 month ordeal finding a gem with another jeweller) he went to pay and they gave him a "discount" and only charged $3300. Unfortunately, the reciept said "miscellaneous charge" instead of saying "loose gem" or something like that, and we could not insure the ring. We had to get it appraised. We asked the associates if they could just hand write us a reciept saying that they had charged him $3300. They wouldn't, it needed to be sent away. Skeptical, I asked if they are hesitant to write a reciept because the gem actually isn't worth what they charged. (My fiance did research after he made the purchase originally, worrying that he had been duped and saw that this type of gem is only worth a MAXIMUM of $400/carat. This gem is over 8 carats. The associate assured us that being that the gem was set in a designer ring, it would be worth more if evaluated as a whole unit, and that there is no way the gem would be valued at less. Well we just had it appraised and the ring has been valued at $500 than we paid. I cannot even tell you how upset and disappointed that my poor fiance paid way too much for a gem, especially when we now have to worry about the price of a wedding.
