These guys are always o e of my first stops when I'm in Calgary, great and passionate people behind the counter. They know their watches and took the time to walk you through each watch and brand.

Service is top notch, dealing with Brad you get service you would expect with the level of brands in the store. Not once have I felt pressured to buy anything from this store. I would highly recommend Brinkhaus to all my friends and family looking for jewellery or timepiece.

Brinkhaus is the place to go if you are looking for high end watches in Calgary. They treat their customers well, and have great selection. Their sales staff have good knowledge about the product they are selling. Their location is in an old house in downtown Calgary, which has a certain intimacy and charm to it.

First of all, fantastic staff. They provide very kind and knowledgeable service; my cousin and I were helped very promptly. They kindly let me handle any watch I asked, and I was able to also get a catalogue. If you’d like to see some beautiful watches first-hand, this is a place to go.

Nice store and great selection, but don't expect competitive prices, honest answers and don't expect them to work for a sale. I came to this store to do an insurance claim on a Rolex watch which should have been a no brainer and super simple. But that was not the case at all. The sales lady informed me that they couldn't match that watch any longer because it was 5 years old. So, I phoned the insurance company and they recommended one of their other preferred vendors and immediately I found out that they could in fact replace that watch. So, I returned to Brinkhaus and the same sales lady started to recant her initial story and passed me her boss's phone number and told me that he was in Paris on a business trip and to call him in a couple of weeks. I waited until he returned and finally got him on the phone but it was very clear that he didn't want to waste any of his time on this deal complaining that he wasn't making a lot of money on the deal and wasn't sure if he could get the watch. In the meantime, I contacted another store in downtown Calgary, J. Vair Anderson and they said they could definitely replace that watch and also negotiated a much lower price than Brinkhaus. They treated me with respect and were very easy to deal with so I did the deal with them. I found Brinkhaus staff to be very judgmental, they look you over real good before determining if they want to consider you as a paying client or just a waste of time. Further to that, I really didn't feel comfortable with the level of difficulty and lack of customer care they displayed when trying to get what should have been a simple deal completed without issue. They worked hard at trying to upsell me to a different watch by trying to convince me that Rolex could not provide a new replacement which was a complete lie. They managed to waste several months of my time from their abysmal business practices. Save yourself cash and grief and go to J VAIR Anderson for your Rolex instead. Definitely not returning here again.
