I had been looking at stones and settings in several different configurations for months when I stumbled upon a beautiful center stone for my envisioned engagement ring at Sokanne's. Gale and I had a conversation about getting the stone into the setting I had in mind and she set to work straight away. The quoting process was extremely transparent with clarity, carats, and color front and center. The finished cost was exactly as quoted, and was competitive compared to three other quotes I received from jewelers in the area. The craftsmanship of the finished piece is exceptional and it was finished within the time-frame promised. I definitely recommend Sokanne's to anyone looking to collaborate with a jeweler on a custom made piece.

What a RIP off! I got a really nice watch for my birthday. Took it into this place to get a cpl links out. In 3 minutes it was done. That'll be 20 bucks please. Excuse me I said, "yes if you would have purchased the watch here it would be free. Do you sell tubs brand here?no...it was a gift so I obviously didnt purchase it. I'm all for small business but not like this place. I believe at $20 for 5 minutes which it actually didnt take but round it up is $220/hour. Come on, no wonder the store was completely empty...

I used another local place for years but they increased their watch battery install price to $18. That's even more than what Hudson Bay charges!! Went to Sokanne's for the first time and wish I went there all along. She said $10 (battery prices vary on the type) and changed it instantly. Super quick and affordable. I'll be bringing all our watches here from now on.
