Went to look at a seiko watch to inquire about the price. Fairly unfriendly lady told me it was 899$. It's a seiko skx007, which on the high end of price should be about 350 max!! Couldn't believe it. I have several of them that I've modified, and was thinking about getting another, however, I'll stick buying elsewhere. Outrageously overpriced, hard to even understand how that store is even open.

I went into this store to have a couple of repairs done when I walked in I was ignored then after a few minutes the woman behind the counter walked away and asked what I wanted. My response was asking her if she wanted my business to which she replied yes. I continued to explain what i needed done she quoted me a price then walked away. An older man then came out he ignored me for a bit then asked what I wanted done, again I explained and he told me the price and that I had to pay in advance. I said no and he just said 'no pay ahead no repair'. I found the staff to be rude and who pays for a jewelry repair before the work is done. I agree there is something suspicious about this place as I have never seen anyone in there but then again I who would want to be. My advice stay away. Jacquie

Went to look at a Seiko watch. At first the staff ignored me, then rudely asked what I wanted when I had to ask. They seemed annoyed that I wanted to see one of the watches. Turns out it was priced over $600 more than listed on Amazon anyways... don't waste your time, they obviously don't want your business!

The staff who work there are very rude. Worst customer service ever! My mom went there to get a watch battery replaced and they forgot to put the watch backing on. When my mom complained, they yelled at my mom and blamed her for their mistake. They said her complaint will be bad for their business...actually it is their bad customer service that is bad for their business.

Watch battery replacement. Simple? Yes, unless you have it done here. Destroyed my wife's watch, took zero responsibility and ended up yelling at my wife. Continued yelling at me when I tried to (calmly) intervene, all the while our young son witnessing the entire affair. We have contacted BBB and although La Vie is not a registered member (big surprise) we will follow up with a formally documented complaint at BBB's suggestion. Any/all online reviews for this business are consistent in terms of similarly abhorrent behaviour - poor customer service at best and borderline thievery at worst.
