First of all this store offers lots of different products, good quality. For repairing is where the issue comes. They exchanged my original piece for a different material on my white gold 18k or 750 chain. ( the end) where you attach the 2 ends together. The gold wasn’t white.. it was more like a yellow piece instead.( 3 months after) It didn’t have rhodium what makes the gold white. They changed it for a smaller size (my original was Bigger) I understand the gold may change its colour after a long time of use but NOT in 3 months. ( took it to another specialist and told me that it wasn’t white gold ) I recommend always taking a picture before and after of every part of your jewelry. And the lady that works there. Don’t laugh in front of a customer because we bring The money into your store. Poor attitude. Roberto is an excellent salesman. No issues whatsoever. Did everything to help.

I had a problem with a repair done on my ring, but I was very satisfied with the very fair and professional way it was handled by the manager. I previously dealt with 2 salespeople, Bao & Fernando (?) and I found them also to be very professional, easy to talk to and they explained things in a very friendly, clear way. I've brought a bit of gold in to sell and I feel they gave a fair price. All in all, a good experience. Thanks! :-)

I first found Old 'n' Gold 14 years ago when I was interested in buying antique jewellery and art glass. I got to know Brian and Lorraine, who are two of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you could know. Lately, I've been downsizing and I've been selling some gold jewellery. Brian, Ian, and Chris have been great in explaining the gold market and buying my gold. Just for fun, I got a price from them for one gold chain I wanted to sell, and I went to another gold buying place on Oak Bay to see what they would offer for the same piece. Chris at Old 'n' Gold used a sophisticated machine to analyze and confirm that my piece was 18k gold and he offered me $925. The other place on Oak Bay had no machine but rather took some filings from my piece and poured some fluid over the filings and said that my piece was only 14k, not 18k. They offered $600 for the same piece. Yikes! That's a $325 price difference for the same chain. I always knew that the people at Old 'n' Gold were amazing; now I know just HOW amazing they are. Thanks Old 'n' Gold for all the fun I've had in your store. Brian has an AMAZING knowledge of antique jewellery. Lorraine is a sweetheart.

Had a very negative experience with another jeweller that gave me a custom made ring that had blemishes and pock marks, and who told me they could not fix it. I took it in to Old N Gold and was immediately told that there was no reason it shouldn't or couldn't be flawless. A mere 40$ restored my ring to perfection. They were very friendly and prompt. Thank you Old N Gold!

Wonderful! I was amazed at how easy to work with, how friendly, great prices and fast ship, making the entire transaction (x2!) so pleasant and memorable! I love my items, and am now a fan of Old N Gold Victoria! Give them a try, you will never be sorry! Life is short, enjoy the best and at a reasonable price!
