My Father a couple years ago I believe it was 4 years ago recommended me to go take a look at AAA stamp and coin jewellery. I had called ahead of time to make an appointment with Dee, and was very happy with my visit. Dee had taken the time to organize her many rings in stock and my fiance and mother as well took our time looking through, finally deciding on a beautiful solitaire diamond engagement ring. Dee is a gemologist so you can trust completely she knows her rings and stones for sure! My ring was flawless absolutely, no comparison to what they had offered in other stores! I also have received endless compliments on the stones quality. Dee also explained the grading and quality of stones that were used in the making of my ring. I have been in contact with her many times with Dee since our initial meetings finding the absolute perfect band to match. I have found her and her husband extremely kind and helpful with me and my many visits. Today I had been in again and chose my final bands and also my future hubbys. They are perfect in every way and so beautiful and unique (not the ones you see everyday)! I highly suggest if you are purchasing jewellery to go to AAA stamp and coin jewellery! Can't wait for another visit!

Rip off... I walked over to the one on Johnson and got twice the price

I got scammed and lied to when I bought a $3000.00 antique diamond ring here. By far the worst and most upsetting retail experience of my life. The seemingly friendly and knowledgeable saleswoman answered all my questions about the condition, and told me that the ring was perfect, with no issues. When a gemologist on the same street told me the ring was damaged and very amateurishly repaired, I immediately got an appraisal done. The appraisal confirmed that 3 stones were broken, and I was told that the ring was worth about half of what I paid. I went back to AAA Stamp & Coin to complain and ask for a refund. The same saleswoman was there, and her demeanor completely changed when I explained the situation. She became rude and arrogant, rolling her eyes at me and trying to intimidate me into giving up and leaving - she even accused me of trying scam them! When I explained in detail that the appraisal contradicted everything she'd told me, she sarcastically said: "Gee, you've got a great memory. What was I wearing that day?". The other salesperson told me to come back on a day when the owner was there to resolve the problem, even as his rude coworker kept interrupting us with snarky comments. A week later I went back and met the "mother of the owner", who tried to tell me that the appraiser was the one who was wrong, wouldn't give me a refund, and refused to even pay for the repairs the ring would need. She also let slip that they'd had the ring for 16 years. When I asked why they hadn't been able to sell it in all that time, she said it had been sitting in their safe, and that it wasn't my business what they did with their stock. The salesman from my previous visit was there as well, and kept trying to take or photocopy the appraisal I'd paid $50.00 for, and then tried to take the ring saying that they would have someone repair it for me. At that point, I didn't trust either of them, and was afraid that I would never see my ring again, so I said no. Eventually the woman sullenly agreed on a refund, but of course they wouldn't reimburse me for the appraisal, even though they tried to get a free copy of it. When I asked around town, I started hearing stories from different people about AAA Stamp & Coin scamming other customers as well. It seems that my experience wasn't an isolated incident. I wish I'd known about their reputation beforehand, so that I could have avoided this stressful and miserable experience. They lied to my face, and I have never had a salesperson treat me the way that nasty woman did. If you want to buy or sell Gold and/or Jewellery in town, I recommend Old 'n Gold, or LC Coins.

Thank you so much! I wanted to start investing in gold and silver, but had no idea what to buy, or how. The very knowledgable man working there took a lot of time explaining the 'markets' to me and showed me all the types available. Thanks again, I'm so happy with my new investment. I will be back for more :-)
