Be prepared to have your mind blown by the quality of workmanship on display here. The jewellery is phenomenal and the staff go out of their way to make sure that your needs are met and you are getting exactly what you want. They take into consideration your price range as well, working to get the best piece possible for your budget, not just the most expensive piece they can get you to buy. I look forward to continuing my patronage in years to come.

My husband and I have been going to Idar almost 23 years now and bought so many beautiful handmade jewelry that I wear everyday from them. The store workers and owners have been so wonderful, full of smiles and so caring. They care of every detail that they put into my jewelry. Absolutely gorgeous and handcrafted of artwork. Thank for all your kindness and hard work that you have done for both of us. Idar and staff deserve five stars for their fantastic work and such a lovely store.

Love, love, love Idar. I had been visiting the store for a number of years, flying in from New York to visit an ailing parent in Victoria. Each time I entered the store it was a great experience. As I asked to try on different pieces, there was never any pressure but rather a one to one attentiveness that I really appreciated. I finally had the opportunity to have Idar make three pieces for me, in remembrance of my parent who passed. Idar was so good to work with and patient with me as I tried to decide exactly what I wanted which took quite awhile!! The results were fantastic and I am wearing one of my Idar rings as I write this. I am already contemplating what I may have them design next. Truly works of art!

I took a beloved ring into Idar for repair and after seeing and admiring the wonderful jewellery it was decided I would have a new ring made using what was able to be saved from my own ring. I now have a calla lily ring (my hubby's favourite flower) and a friend admired it so much she now has her own ring. We compliment each other's often. Thanks to everyone who made this happen for me.

We were driving away from downtown after trudging around looking for wedding rings in jewelry shops that were making my partner less and less enthusiastic about wearing a wedding ring at all when I spotted Idar's and thought we should give it a try. So happy that we did. Lance and Lara were very patient with us through our protracted, chocolate fueled decision making process. We ended up having a lot of fun. We now have beautiful rings made with real craftsmanship that we both love. Thank you!
