I took a beloved pendant in to have the bail fixed. I find the business very Covid aware and appreciated the care taken to ensure everyone's safety. I was concerned because my pendant has a large Mabe pearl that needed to be removed as it was right under the bail. Mr. Rivest, the owner, assured me he could do the job with no damage to the pearl. When I picked up my pendant I was thrilled with the job done and he polished it up so it looked better than when I brought it in.

Brought two pieces of jewelry in. I had my great grandmothers ring resized to only slightly larger. The result is so thin in the band I feel the integrity of the ring is at risk and the band was left so incredibly sharp it cuts into my finger so I cannot wear. The bracelet I had shortened also had an extendable link I asked to have remove left in which makes it look sloppy. I would not recommend at all and am really upset with the result.

Had a great experience here. The owner remade my wife's wedding ring. She was having a reaction to the nickel usually used in white gold. The previous Jeweler had not done a stellar job with the ring overall. He ordered in another alloy to make white gold and gave us a fair valuation on trading the metals over. It was not a quick process but he stayed on it and the work he did look phenomenal. We also changed over (got larger ones) some of the diamonds in the ring for which he gave us good trade over prices. He was very straight forward, very informative and his prices were really fair. It was worth the drive to chemainus.
