I bought my first diamond necklace from Cartier. My sales representative Dara is amazing. She went above and beyond with my resize and delivery request. Even though there is a bit hassle on the carrier side. She gives me updates on every step of the process and made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend my sales representative!

Special thanks to Dara Wren for helping us find the ring we were looking for. We booked an appointment and came in early, we were greeted and looked around while we wait. Customer service was great, beverages were served and provided tips in purchasing the item we were looking for. I was thankful that we were able to roam around the store as the item we were hoping to purchase didn't had a wow on me until I saw a better suited product for our taste. The product is top notch from final product to bags & containers. I would definitely come back again, once I have enough to afford another.

I took my 18K Cartier watch in for a new battery because its existing battery died two weeks ago. The salesclerk barely spoke English. I asked if she could have the watch polished. She said, "No, that polishing will remove the gold." I said, "It's 18K. It won't remove the gold." She said no again. So I settled for "buffing" it if possible. I'm a jeweller. I know that my watch is 18K. Apart from the 18K stamp, it says so on the purchase receipt. But the salesgirl insisted it was plated. So it was sent off to Toronto. I got an email with a non-detailed estimate for servicing for $543.20. The estimate also stated "Case: scratched and platting can not be polished," when the salesgirl told me that it was in excellent condition. It is. I rarely wear it. I assume they meant "plated." I called Cartier and asked who had written that. They didn't answer me. I lost all confidence in Cartier and asked for my watch back. I'll have it repaired elsewhere, by an educated company that speaks and writes English and, more importantly, by someone who knows the difference between 18K and gold-plating. Imagine! A jewellery store with salesclerks who don't know the difference between 18K and gold-plating! That's Cartier. UPDATE: Today, April 10, 2019, I received a call from the Cartier Boutique in Vancouver. The manager told me that she looked into the matter and discovered that the workshop in Mississauga had, in fact, made a mistake and that my watch is, in fact, 18K gold. She apologized for Cartier's mistake, and I apologized to her for my anger and some words I used. Since all Cartier watches would end up at that workshop anyway, I asked if she would send it back to be serviced. She agreed. I told her that after I receive my serviced watch and am satisfied, I will remove this review.

I have bought several pieces of accessories from Cartier over years. I bought a bracelet from them this year and decided to exchange for a larger size the next day; also first time doing exchange at Cartier, that's how this unpleasant shopping experience begins. The sales refused to exchange it, saying that I have scratched the surface of the bracelet and it's damaged beyond repair. Very interesting because the only thing I did with that bracelet was tried it on my wife’s wrist. It turned out to be too tight, so we put it back into the box, planning to have it exchanged the next day. The sales tell me that I might have tried the bracelet on a hard surface, which I denied since we tried it on a wood topped table. I mean how hard can it be? Then the sales suggest that the screwdriver which comes with the bracelet might have fall lose inside the box and scratched the bracelet. Now, that is a reasonable explanation, but hey, if that would happen, YOU SHOULD HAVE PACKED THEM SEPARATELY ‼ I even offered to cover any cost necessary to repair the scratch to have it exchanged, still they refuse. Just for comparison, I bought a tourbillon watch at Rodeo Jewellers in 2017. Somehow I damaged the crown and brought it back for a check. And they sent my watch back to Europe to have the repair done, Charge Free. Usually the cost to replace a damaged crown on a tourbillion watch would almost be as costly as the bracelet I bought at Cartier. Since I can't exchange the bracelet I already bought and my wife really likes it. I have no choice than to buy another Cartier bracelet, same design, just different size. Swear wouldn't buy another piece of Cartier for myself, Never.
