Extremely disappointed with both the service I’ve received at Tiffany and the quality of their products. A couple of weeks ago I happened to look down at my hand and noticed that my ring was split. I had seen a seem on the ring previously so I just assumed that the ring had split on the soldered seem and called Tiffany to have it repaired. Instantly I was made to feel like this was something I had done and what I was describing was impossible. They accused me of having done something reckless with the ring because they claimed that the ring was made in a mold so what I was describing was inconceivable. Needless to say the ring held tremendous sentimental value in the first place so even the fact it was damaged was incredible upsetting but to then be accused of mistreating the ring which I cherished was very insulting. They told me that I needed to bring the ring in for examination, they would send it to Toronto and then they would let me know how much the repairs cost. Not wanting to wait, I took the ring to a very reputable jeweler in my neighborhood to have it repaired expeditiously. Upon seeing the ring they told me it had indeed split on the soldered seem and although they could repair it, to have that kind of damage on a 5 year old gold ring was not normal and they didn’t want to void the warranty. They suggested I take it back to Tiffany so they could repair it because what they were seeing was abnormal. When I took it back Tiffany said they would send it to Toronto but the ring was old (bought in 2013) and so it would likely need repair. Long story short, it did split on the soldered seem (so it wasn't made in a mold as they claimed) and they told me once again that I must have caused this to happen. As you can see in the photo, hard to believe that I might have done anything that reckless to the ring as it shows no apparent marks of trauma or deformation. I have bought a number of items from Tiffany over the years because I thought I was buying quality and a certain level of customer service. This experience has definitely shown me that Tiffany is not the brand it claims to be.

I had time to do the entire turn of their display counter before one of the 2 of sales girls greeted me. They were busy talking and talking and talking. Felt like i was in a high school girls locker room or something. They completely ignored the other customers there and myself. I love the establishment but this tiffany boutique does not impress me. There was practically no service at all.
