I bought a preowned Rolex watch in this store for $7,000. One day, I went to Rolex store in valley fair to cleaned my watch and out of my curioisity, I asked for authentication. And got so surprised and disappointed because the result of my authentication is fake!!!! So, I went back to the store" Diamond Chainary" in greatmall and told the owner. I approached him in a low tone of Voice and in a professional way. Of course, he got mad and yelled at me, he wants to call security on me, as if IM a shop lifter. I told him, you're not supposedly to Do these to your customer, selling a fake pre-owned Rolex. I told him, " I am a Victim here" , I paid $7,000 plus interest , and I dont deserved your verbal abuse inside your jewelry store . He's telling me, that I picked up a fight to a wrong guy?! Ive millions compare to your little pennies. I dont expect this behavior especially from a jewelry store owner and professional person. Being an owner, so abusive to the customer, very disrespectful, yelling at me. Please, people, dont Go to this jewelry store, " Diamond Chainary", I dont want you to be a victim with the owner.

After looking at a couple of other watch and jewelry shops, looking for someone to change the battery in my Wenger Swiss Army watch, I was directed to Diamonds by Chainary. They took my watch apart and told me that the battery had caused some corrosion and changing it would not help. Oh well. They were polite (even offering to sell me another watch) but I left. I soon noticed that my watch was put together wrong, the "10" was in the twelve-o-clock position. They fixed this and apologized. The next day, there was water showing in my watch. I've had the watch ten years and never had this problem until they took it apart. I went back and inquired. The man who helped me was different than the day before. He swore that they didn't cause the problem, that battery changing does not require getting into the front of the watch only the back. I admit I became angry and raised my voice saying that I had never had a problem with the watch before they opened it. If they didn't have to get in the front, why was my watch face in the wrong position after they closed it. He called me a bully and a jerk, wouldn't accept my apology for raising my voice, and kicked me out of his store. I went back later and apologized to another employee for raising my voice, but will never go back to Diamonds by Chainary. Saying that the problems with my watch were not their fault reminded me of a time a hubcap came off of my car right after having the tires rotated. When I went back, the owner said that it wasn't caused by them, but they were the last ones to touch the hubcap. I hope my watch can be repaired.

well i dont know the reviews of the other two review but i had a really good experience at the Diamonds by chanary, Let me explain how, I like to talk so bear with me. Spending twice your monthly salary is enough to send you running to Safeway for Immodium, but then I found Diamonds by Chanary. Thankfully, it wasn't my pocketbook. :) I've visited many jewelry stores during my assignment from my bro-in-law to purchase an ring for my sister. I visited with Diamonds by Chanary a couple of times before suggesting it. Let me say that I am a very picky shopper and I had the following requirements: 1) No sleazy salespeople 2) No undue pressure to buy something outside my budget 3) Guarantee me that I'm getting the best deal 4) Let me decide what I want Diamonds by Chanary rated very well in all of these categories. We left with a ring that my sister l-o-v-e-d all capital letters that was within budget. Any splurging that was done was completely by choice. Marina, our fabulous Diamonds by Chanary lady, was actually convincing us to buy the lesser expensive choice, because it was within the original budget and explaining how she has gotten upgrades in six years of marriage. While we were sweating out the details (this is a habit of mine...you don't have to do this at Diamonds by Chanary!), a lovely man came by and offered to shine up my sister's existing ring, that she was wearing. We didn't even recognize it when it came back to us! So shiny! Nice perk. You can come in for this cleaning service as often as you like. So when you have an occassion to go and no time to shine your ring (or you want it super shiny) just drop by and viola! In other fine print...you can take your item in for an upgrade at any time. You will be given the full value of the item you purchased previously toward your new item. Of course, this means you will have to pay sales tax on that money again, but I suppose most jewelers offer the same option. And the complimentary mini-water bottle is a nice touch. You'll need to be hydrating when spending your good earned money in large amounts. :) Needless to say, we went back to get a pair of studs, which was much easier to buy than a ring! Marina had learned my preferences and guided me to a successful purchase of my choice. The *only* area of improvement I would suggest to Diamonds by Chanary is that they put more effort into presenting a larger loose diamond selection. When I initially went to the store, I was shown 3 diamonds that met my criteria and since I didn't totally love any of them, I went back a couple of weeks later. I was still shown the same three diamonds. Hard to believe that this is *all* they had. I wasn't happy with that scenario. That said, I would recommend this place to any friend. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't do your own research first and go in for your visit as an informed shopper. If you do this, you will likely have a great experience. I don't need a snob at a high end retailer in Valley Faire to tell me what I need. I need a place like Diamonds by Chanary to provide me with a selection of what I want, how I want it. Thanks, Diamonds by Chanary and Thanks, Marina! ..
