I've got to Dublin Jewelers twice. Once a couple years ago for an engraving on a gift. It came back absolutely amazing and the recipient loved it! The second time was a week ago to repair a twenty year old chain my late mother gave me for my communion. Both times I encounter Pam and the fact that she remembered me with years between was such a great impression. I finally met a few of the other staff members when I went to pick up my chain. A gentleman and I had a great conversation while a lovely woman looked for my chain. It looked perfect when it was located and the woman even helped me put it on. Thank you so much for your help!

Love, love Dublin Jewelers, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Raj and his staff are always warm and welcoming. Raj is an expert jewelry designer who always creates beautiful, unique pieces. We have bought watches, earrings, and rings from them and have been very satisfied with all purchases. They have been great at any repairs we've needed, and have completed the job within a reasonable timeframe. Raj and staff are simply wonderful to work with, and have top quality, unique jewelry items.

Stay Away From Dublin Jewelers The watch repair business that was previously located in the Dublin CVS has been moved to Dublin Jewelers. I went there to get a new watch battery and watch band. Trip 1. While the watch was being worked on I paid for the battery and band. Then the clerk showed me some beautiful gold dipped roses. They were $60 and I bought one as a gift. I expect the store to try and sell to watch repair customers – why else did they take over the business if not to get new customers? The watch bands in stock were not big/loose enough for me, so the clerk said she would order one and it would be in on Tuesday. This was a Friday. I went in again on the following Wednesday, (Trip 2), and was told the band was not in – they would call me. I got a call the next day and went in on Sat. Trip 3. The long band (L) band was still not long enough. I was told there were no larger bands. My previous band had 1.5 extra inches on it after it was buckled. I am a plus size woman and wanted a loose band. The clerk said she’d try a unique vendor to see if they had larger bands. She said it would be in on Tuesday - I said I would come in on Wednesday to pick it up. No phone call was received and I showed up 30 minutes before closing on Wednesday – Trip 4. As soon as I walked in the door the clerk said it wasn’t in, she’d been very busy and would call me. The next day she called to say she couldn’t find any longer bands. I told her I was surprised because I had gone online and found several, one up to 11 inches long. She said if I want to buy a band online, bring it in and they would put it on. This entire time they were holding my watch. They had offered it back to me, but I told them to keep it until I could find a band for it. The band arrived and I took it back to Dublin Jewelers. I asked for a refund of their too short band (that was still on the watch), and was then told there would be a $10 charge for putting my band on. I said, ‘Seriously? Even after making 5 trips here?’ ‘Where do you live?’ was the response. ‘15 miles away so each trip is 30 miles round trip.’ The clerk said she would see what she could do. I ended up with $15 cash and a $15 store credit – the original band cost $24.95. I asked friends if am justified to be upset. They all said YES. There had been no phone calls to alert me the band hadn’t arrived when stated it would, (that was 2 wasted trips of 60 miles), no effort to find a longer band outside of their catalogs, and I can’t remember an apology of any kind for my inconvenience. I felt there had been little effort on their part to get what I needed, and then they charged me for it. If Dublin Jewelers is trying get new customers from the folks following the watch repair business, this is a horrible way to go about it. I doubt I will ever go back. If I ever tried to redeem the $15 credit it would probably cost me 3 times as much.
