They write the tickets in a way you think you owe so much by a certain date , but they charge you next month price , always finds a way to rip you off including splitting tickets , makes you think your saving but on 100 bucks you pay a extra 7.28 by splitting tickets just a real example . Always has to make the xtra few bucks burn the customer & smile & make you think its o.k. Anyway even some of their music equipment is way overpriced , they think because gold is their business , they have it . Plus I've been to a few shops and Platinum Jewelry is one of few with a storage fee , and not cheap , it's actually the highest in the valley . So they give you 100 bucks for a 500.00 item , make you feel your item is worthless , that's why they can't lend you more , plus they use E Bay & Amazon to look up items and go by the lowest price for your loan . You paid 600 but sells on E Bay for 100 so we can only give a 50.00 loan B. S. charge next month or highest fee to get item back , charge up to 10 plus bucks a month for storage, ( they should store & Insure our items free for the prices we pay and being their customer the storage fee is what pissed me off the most ) . Then make you feel your wrong and act like their your best friends ... just a legal scam . Pawn shops were always shady , but not greedy like Platinum Jewelry . Also prob need security guard for them not the customers . I've seen more arguments and mouth offs etc in the few yrs I unfortunately had to do business with them & all about money . Never again will I do business or go In there . I do ALL my business if I need to at Superior Pawn on Ave.I , check out George . Better loan prices , no storage fees small enough to be personal , big enough to lend big bucks . 👍 ... ( quick example I have a new 250 guitar w/a 120.00 case 25.00 cable 20.00 strap plus a 80.00 amp 495 in items got 100 loan from Platinum paid back 3 months 128.00 plus 10.00 month storage and tax ... Superior Pawn same stuff same loan paid back 119.00 no tax no storage where would you go , plus could have got 200 if I wanted it )... Cool people there they don't belittle you and care about their customers . Go where you like , but if you want the Best you have to find it . I did & it's not Platinum Jewelry . Thank You . I always go here to buy and pawn stuff and today I went and they couldn't show no love. Then they was looking at me crazy because I was trying to get the best deal.
