My family started collecting gemstones 30 yrs ago, we only purchased stones from reputable geologists, jewellers and cutters, most are local to Atlanta and are highly respected. My family was going through a medical and financial hardship and we decided to part with some of the collection. We had taken them to several pieces to excellent jewelers and designed pieces valued and appraised for 3K and up. We also offered to sell them to them but the offers were not competitive to what we paid or their value. So we went to Global Gems and we were told by the GEMOLOGIST that 90 % were synthetic, heat treated or of poor quality. Her best offer was $200 for approximately 8 sapphires various colors, including 3 paparsha all over 3 carats. She lied

I wouldn't bother taking your jewlery here, I brought in a bag of uncut gemstones and had a few rubies and emeralds along with a lot of other stones. Now keep in mind that rubies can be sold for $100-$15,000 per carat, they offered me $30 dollars for everything I had and didn't even bother to look at them properly. I very disappointed and upset about how much they offered so I took my stones and declined the offer.

Very professional. It's a very safe location (in front of the police station) and you can park right out front. They tested everything right in front of me, offered me a price within a few minutes, and didn't pressure me to sell anything. It was the first place I stopped but went to other places to compare prices. Theirs was by far the highest. They are also just nice people. I would recommend them to anyone.

I went to numerous gold buying outlets, and I got a great service, and top dollar for my gold and silver.
