Beautiful products, great location, great store design, helpful staff, and (of course) extremely high prices for most of the stock. It's a luxury store, so be prepared for sticker shock!

I love Shinolas, but I was pretty disappointed with the Ann Arbor store when we stopped in to buy a watch, and get mine repaired. Every time we asked about a particular model for my wife, or a watchband, they told us they don't stock that kind-- or they were out of stock, and to go to the Shinola Outlet. You would think that if they wanted to make a sale, they would have easy access to a monitor to order it for us or to show us similar models. We then went downstairs to buy some cookies, and the case was filled with fruit-flies (not 1 or 2, but 12-15). I realize bugs are a part of a business, but it doesn't take much to remove the pastries and kill the flies overnight (try an apple cider vinegar trap...it works). Instead the guy behind the counter seemed fine with them as he reached for the cookies and the flies buzzed around, and we declined them. It was gross. We ended up not buying a watch or cookies. Shinola...you need to step it up.

Always great service. Very knowledgeable staff; and a very nice coffee shop downstairs.

great staff! Sociable, whether you're there to buy a notebook or a watch they are happy to help and care about more than just a sale.

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Great quality products. Plus, free monogramming! Coffee is delicious and the ambience is calming. I felt weirdly at home here!!!
