So, just figured I would share the nightmare that I have been dealing with since I got engaged in September: my fiancé got my engagement ring from Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry in lake grove. The ring he bought was a 6 1/2 and he had it sized down to a 5. (No one mentioned to him the damage it could cause bringing the size that much lower) My engagement ring has stones on both sides of the band as well as under the band. The 5 was still big on me so I went a week later to get another holder to keep the ring in place bc I wanted to enjoy having it for a little while. Time went by and I noticed this past December that a stone was missing from the halo. I went to Jared immediately and they said they would fix it no problem and I also finally asked for them to size it down to a 4 1/2 which is my size. They told me to come back a week later which I did, they had me wait 45 minutes before coming out and telling me that all of the stones are falling out from the ring. So I cried lol I was devastated bc the ring that my fiancé picked out for me was falling apart. They told me that they would order me a brand new ring that was custom made to my finger I said “ok, but if anything else happens I want to return the ring†and the regional manager that I spoke with named Chris, said “ok†so they told me it would be in by Valentine’s Day so I had to wait two months. I got a phone call yesterday that my ring was in and to come by later in the day, then I got a phone call ten minutes later saying it’s the wrong size, that they got another 6 1/2 and I would have the same issue of sizing it and having the stones fall out. So I tried to return the ring bc it’s been a nightmare with Jared that I just don’t want to own any jewelry from there and now they won’t let me return it, they won’t compensate me at all, and they told me I had to wait until the middle of March now for a new ring. So they keep screwing up my ring and I just have to sit here and let them! I’m super frustrated about everything!!!! I just want to return it! My fiancé agrees with me, I don’t know what to do at this point. They think they’re doing the right thing by ordering me a another one but it’s just absurd at this point bc I haven’t been wearing a ring and it’s just a lot of stress and I just feel like the customer service there sucks! No one seems to care enough to really help me, they just keep saying “well, we ordered you another ring†but they’re making me wait 4 months now (since beginning of December- now March) 😠DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I want my refund!!!!
