I had some issues with my ring. I'm currently home on vacation and stopped to had it fixed. Everyone was nice except one person. They all took the time to listen as to what I needed done and the whole situation. But the chick with the red hair clearly needs an attitude check. She was rude with everything she said and you could see it in her face.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the product and the warranty that was purchased. When I took the chain in to be repaired for the second time it was returned with the incorrect end on the chain and now it will not even fit in the pendent. I'm disappointed in the repair as you can feel where it was repaired and I don't feel comfortable always having to send the pendant every time as there was nothing wrong with it. I would not recommend purchasing anything at Kay's.

Purchased an engagement ring and wrap around for my wife in 2008. I was told how wonderful the warranty was for this purchase. Bought the warranty, took the ring out for the semi-annual inspections - this is where the problem came in. I would take the ring out for the inspections, but the staff conveniently 'forgot' to document them. When the time came to use the warranty I was told that I had not kept the warranty up and that it was invalid. They were quite happy to sell me a replacement stone for $1,300.00 though. If you purchase a warranty you have to be almost obnoxious with the clerks to get them to document the inspections. My overall rating of Kay Jewelers on a scale of 1 to 10 would be a - 10.
