My fiancé and I went in early in March to pick out our wedding bands. I have a fairly simple engagement ring and a very sweet girl helped us pick out our rings. She helped me create a Guard and I decided to go ahead and have them clean and redip my ring and solder it to the bands so it would be done. We just got the rings back yesterday and I AM DEVASTATED! My main diamond in my engagement ring looks yellow/brown now! I tried the ring on with the guard rings and it looked just fine but now it looks a completely different color! It doesn’t even look like the same stone. The lady couldn’t even offer an explanation. She kept defending the integrity of their store even though I was CLEARLY upset. She tried cleaning it but that did absolutely nothing. Took it to another jewlers and her explanation didn’t make sense to me either but she said the ring was really dirty so they at least properly cleaned it. My ring has its shine back but the stone still looks a different color. My friend who worked for a jewlers said after looking at it that they BURNED MY DIAMOND!!! It can happen while soldering rings together. Regardless of what happened my ring is now RUINED and I’m furious! If I had known this was going to happen I’d have NEVER had them do anything to it because it looks totally different now. I’m super unsatsfied with my ring and the service wasn’t nearly as friendly as the second place we went to. I’m not risking my jewelry again. My fiancé and I have spent a good bit of money at Zales in preparation for the wedding and I don’t think we are going back. I even showed the lady photos of my ring from when I picked out the bands and you can tell the ring looks different but they wouldn’t give me any explanation!

I went into this store to get the prongs tightened on my engagement ring after I had dropped it on a tiled floor. When the employees looked at my ring they told me I had cracked the main diamond pretty bad. I thought that was kind of crazy because I didn't think diamonds could crack so easily, but they kept insisting that they were the experts who have "been in the business for 26 years". So I asked them what needs to happen from here and they told me I would have to replace the diamond. Although I had a bond on the diamond, they told me the crack would not be covered and I would have to replace the diamond myself. Against their advice, I insisted that they send the ring to their headquarters in Dallas to see if the repairs would be rejected. Turns out the diamond was not cracked at all, the prongs just needed to be tightened because the diamond had come loose. Which was what I had originally come into the store for....Terrible service. They tried to use their "expertise" as justification for being rude and condescending throughout our entire interaction.

Zales is a family tradition for me and this store has made all my dreams come true! Thank you for sharing my once in a life time moment with me.

What a great place. They took such good care of my ring multiple times. The manager has been so good to my husband and I. We have had trouble at all the other Zales and this one has been the best.

I had great service until they put an actual reciept in my bag and not a gift receipt and on top of that they put it with the diamond bond so my girlfriend saw it
